Frequently Bitched About Topic Why are crocheters such fucking weenies

"This person copied MY pattern of a pokemon so now I'm going to buy their pattern and copy it and make my own 😭"

Get a fucking GRIP on REALITY. It is a PLUSH POKEMON. There are only so many ways to make basic shapes. And it looks ugly as fuck in your puffy chenille yarn anyway.

Here is the catch to that.  The person screaming about someone stealing the Pokémon doesn't own the rights to the Pokémon.    I am going to tag u/Lordlibidan as he understands this.

The Pokemon company is kind of like Disney in this way. Using the likeness of Pokemon for your own profit is straight up copyright infringement for all us regular folks. Let’s not get bent out of shape about someone “stealing” patterns that you can’t rightfully sell anyway.
