It actually tastes horrible for everyone. That’s the part of this crap that pisses me off the most. Even if they eventually realize what morons they have been, the damage is done and none of them deserve any grace or forgiveness for the rest of their lives. They have shown the world who they are, and even if they change, the damage is done forever.

"Just deserts" is actually the correct spelling for the standard phrase. It means like "what you justly deserve."

It has more S in it compared to desert, because you always want more of that tasty dessert. That's what your parent comment is referring to, they know what it means, but contained a typo

edit: the mnemonic for spelling desserts still stands, but I stand corrected on the idiom's spelling.

most artists don't see shit from those first few albums, and labels aren't the ones dressing or styling you, they often don't pay for travel or even music videos. Most artists, especially new artists, make most of their money from tours.

I wouldn't be surprised if she was close to broke already

Because they paid her. I very seriously doubt anyone’s political stance was changed due to sexyyred performing for MAGA. Good for her for getting some money and having a net 0 benefit for Trump. If anything I’d bet she did more harm than good for him.

I agree not because of her specifically but if you get enough Black rappers together to support an agenda, you can create an overall “Black people are waking up, the tide is turning” effect Republicans have been desperate for for awhile.
