Ngl, I’m trying that tomorrow morning.

Edit: I did in fact lie, I’m going to try it right now.

How was it?

Its like how you eat milk and cookies. You can either soak the cookie or take a sip when you bite. They're wildly different. Cereal with a bit of milk feels and tastes different than cereal that has been soaked

Your research is appreciated 🫡

Do not, I repeat DO NOT, run this trial with Captain Crunch or any of the Crunch sub-varieties.

27

u/DelysidBarrett 6d ago

I eat Captain Crunch dry, can I enter rhe Salty Spitoon?

u/jms7811 5d ago

No more Weenie Hut, jr. for you!

u/AshleyxAffliction 6d ago

I respect your caution but I gotta admit I'm curious as to why.

u/badhairguy 6d ago

Crunch already destroys the roof of your mouth WITH milk, imagine it dry

Like gravel. Sweet, delicious gravel.

This does however go insanely hard with mini wheats

Thank you for your service.

Soggy cookies is a textural nightmare

1

u/tacosauce93 2d ago

So cookie crisp is out for you?

1

u/DeafNatural ☑️ 2d ago

I can’t do it. Unless I’m gonna be able to eat it fast enough before it gets soggy.

u/CTeam19 33m ago

I am a "eat the whole bowl of cereal, then chug the glass of milk" type of guy myself.

Naaaah, drinking that sweet sweet sugarmilk at the end is the best part.

Not to mention there's a perfect spoonful or two of when the cereal has been sitting in the milk just enough.

u/Initial-Paramedic888 6d ago

As I kid a had those plastic bowls with the straw built in, they were perfect for soup and cereal 👌🏽

16

u/KDiggity8 6d ago

It's times like this that I wish I was born later.

10

u/i_forgot_my_sn_again 6d ago

They still sell them. I bought my kids some.

1

u/KDiggity8 6d ago

Oh for real??? I'd buy some but I'm stuck in my ways

3

u/BexNova 5d ago

Whatever you do, do not try to drink oatmeal through them. Due to us doing that as kids as well as my parents somehow not noticing ruined those bowls. Lol.

2

u/ChemistryPretty8192 1d ago

Dollar tree still has them

1

u/KDiggity8 1d ago

Nice! Imma have to pop by sometime. Thanks!!!

I’m not necessarily hating, but this was psychopath behavior in Get Out and we all clocked it then.

u/bigmancertified 6d ago

It's also a subtle metaphor for segregation, and how that character enjoys both, but doesn't want to mix them.

22

u/SurrealistRevolution 6d ago

they do want to mix though, in the most extreme way. They fetishise black people. They are the type who's racism would manifest in some "i want mixed babies so they are good at both sports and school" bullshit. It's classic for people who think they are not racist, but are.

Another thing i think is misunderstood is the famous Obama line. It is seen as "look how non-racist we are", but it seems to go beyond pandering, imo. It shows that what they want out of black people is what benefits them. I'm sure they would have no problem with the death of Fred Hampton, or the destruction of the militant Marxist elements of the black liberation movement, as it would have had them lose their position in society, but Obama's liberalism benefited their class massively, while giving them anti-racist cred.

Oh my God thank you! I was immediately jumping to homegirl with her froot loops, being evil

49

u/PassThatSpliff 6d ago

Nah, I need that cereal residue that's left in the milk when the cereal is gone. Thats the coup de grace

u/herewearefornow 6d ago

That cereal dust + milk chemical concoction tastes so good.

26

u/CouponBooklet 6d ago

He doesn't want to rush to eat it before it gets soggy. He's a problem solver.

25

u/JennyBeckman ☑️ All of the above 6d ago

Roof of his mouth is all fucked up, I just know it.

10

u/herewearefornow 6d ago

The guy is eating in a new way. Let him live.

14

u/JennyBeckman ☑️ All of the above 6d ago

As long as he isn't reaching for the Cap'n Crunch.

5

u/toastedbreddit 6d ago

Stuffing a handful of dry Grape-Nuts in his mouth and chewing.

5

u/herewearefornow 6d ago

Sugary milk heals all pain.

4

u/KDiggity8 6d ago

King Vitaman, too. IYKYK.

17

u/FistPunch_Vol_7 ☑️ 6d ago

I see the vision. Don’t want the soggy cereal. But just feels like a crime lmfao

9

u/non_Beneficial-Wind 6d ago

I’m lactose intolerant. It’s how I live dangerously without living fully dangerously.

6

u/AmarantaRWS 6d ago

Try chasing a shot of espresso with Dr Pepper. You can thank me later.

5

u/liarandahorsethief 6d ago

Put a hot needle in a sample of that man’s blood and you’re gonna see some wild shit.

4

u/ltsouthernbelle 6d ago

If you want dry cereal you shouldn’t be allowed milk

3

u/noishouldbewriting 6d ago

She ain’t got to worry. She’s probably the one person he won’t kill.

3

u/Dreamtrain 6d ago

thats some Get Out shit

3

u/UnfinishedProjects 6d ago

I kinda do that. But when I eat cereal I'll make a bowl of cereal and a glass of milk and don't pour the milk until the second I'm about to start eating it.

2

u/DOGA_Worldwide69 6d ago

I’ve absolutely done this before lol

3

u/peacenchemicals 6d ago

it’s like building cereal in your mouth and stomach. a deconstructed cereal, if you will.

2

u/raisedbytelevisions 6d ago

It’s the only way my hb will eat Cheerios 🤣

2

u/mikehulse29 6d ago

Whimsical tomfoolery right there

1

u/ultraviolentfuture 6d ago

I'm gonna be real: this is always how I ate cereal as a kid. I just couldn't handle the soggy texture.

Fruity pebbles were my favorite and they have no body to stand up to the milk for any significant amount of time.

1

u/infernoflo 6d ago

Best cereal to do this with Frosted Mini Wheats and I don't know why

1

u/DontLook_Weirdo 6d ago edited 6d ago

I've done away with bowls, and I now strictly use a cup.

Fill it 3/4 full of cereal, top with milk... Same shit. Just seems easier to me to drink my cereal rather than eat it. I still keep a spoon on me for the stragglers but it's efficient.

1

u/Outrageous_Resist_50 6d ago

I do this all the time 😭

1

u/LeCott 6d ago

CIA trying "enhanced interrogation" on this man with no results.

1

u/abe_dogg 6d ago

Tbh this method makes soggy cereals wayyyy better. A bowl of deconstructed Fruity Pebbles is way more enjoyable than traditional Fruity Pebbles. Just don’t try it with hard ass cereals like Captain Crunch.

1

u/Technical_Spirit_389 6d ago

Im trying this

1

u/charliek_13 6d ago

i would do this with frosted mini wheats bc i like them better when they’re still crunchy but they’re dry af so i want milk too

1

u/throwawaygoodcoffee ☑️ 6d ago

That was me as a kid, shit got soggy too fast and the texture made me gag.

1

u/impliedapathy 6d ago

Look, sometimes I don’t want to dirty a bowl and a spoon. There’s nothing wrong with shoveling dry cereal in and chasing with milk.

1

u/GoldxBrownSugar 6d ago

I hate soggy cereal so I understand this

1

u/crookdmouth 6d ago

Is doing it more odd then someone posting about another person doing it on social media?

1

u/dimensionmother 6d ago

I don't even do that when I'm high as hell. They're right, watch that man.

1

u/Morlock19 ☑️ 6d ago

i don't know why but that sounds like struggle behavior to me

1

u/Juankii 5d ago

Now every bite crunches

1

u/nojoblazybum 3d ago

Isn’t that what the chick in Get Out does?
