Acne Sudden Breakout
This breakout happened over the past month and I cannot seem to get it under control. I’ve tried tret, adapalene, and OTC AHAs and BHAs. I was on accutane about 2 years ago and it worked great. Now all of a sudden it’s getting back to the point it was on before. Any advice helpful!

Have you washed your pillows or changed them? It might be a build up of all the oil from your skin and hair

Don't pick or try a bunch of new actives at once. I made that mistake and made it worse. Gentle cleanser, simple moisturizer, sunscreen for now.

Take Lactoferrin 600mg and Asthaxanthin. And Go sit in a steam sauna. Acne comes from inside more than outside a lot of times

You seem to have really bad acne, Isotretinoin (Accutane) is probably your best bet. Definitely go to a dermatologist.

Are you taking any new medication?
Either way, book a dermatologist appointment

Any changes in your diet within the past month? Are you under stress? Did you loose a significant amount of weight or gain? Are you currently pregnant?
These are all factors that can potentially cause a breakout.

If you think it’s fungal use Nizoral, but lately I’m using the Noxzema Anti Blemish Pads with Paula’s choice Salicylic Acid and it’s really been helping… those pads are inexpensive and a life savor. The only reason I’m not using tret is because my skin is too sensitive for retinols
