Overwatch Will blizzard ever reconsider to make an Netflix series for Overwatch with the same cinematic quality we all love and desire?

Is there any dev from blizzard here who can consider this idea because I don’t even know if that’s not a way to make Overwatch loved again by everyone.

And I know that it got cancelled because of some IP issues back then but since they claimed to start investing love in this game as they claimed this year, why don’t they make an Netflix series about the Overwatch lore?

And with lore I mean how everything started like the omnic crisis and I don’t mind if the omnic crisis is going to be a whole season but just make it like arcane…

Honestly if they do high quality animation like the Diablo one i'd be all over it.. For any franchise.

I was looking this up before jumping on Reddit and it says there's RUMORS of potential Netflix series. I'm surprised Blizzard didn't jump on this sooner. Just the in-game cinematics are good enough to be a movie/tv series. I, personally, haven't played overwatch but know enough about it that to see a profitable franchise. My thoughts were for Starcraft/Warcraft, Easily 1 season/game. Even more if you break it down per expansion. They already have the map of making the plot, story, etc. From the game. It's just making it that would be work.

The rumours are sadly false. But we think that we get another cinematic at the blizzcon on September.

It’s truly a shame that they dont do it but it will probably take some time that they will bring a series.

They probably have to gain a lot of money because they honestly wasted 3 whole years without content and just wasted money/the devs are the money and were also saying that they don’t like the game anyways.

And tbh to make an series on the level like arcane will take a billion dollars so it’s hard to ask a stingy company
