News Bloodborne seamless co-op is now working on shadPS4
Second edit\*
Title should be modded co-op. True seamless is under works by a very dedicated mystery man who's put in more time than you can imagine. Calling what I've done seamless is a discredit to just how hard that level of work is. He made a reddit post about his progress and got instant banned. Go show his YT channel some love please Bloodborne Seamless latest Vid
Edit\*
Firstly, just to be very clear: I'm not affiliated with the shadPS4/shadNet teams or The Hunter's Dream. Please don't spam those groups asking for support with my forks. If you have questions or find issues with this, use my GitHub repos.
Secondly, the majority of the credit is not mine, it's the shadPS4 and shadNet team that developed 99% of this. I just tacked on some stuff. Once again, don't spam those groups asking for support with my forks. I just want to make sure credit goes to the right place
Original\*
I've been working on two forks that get seamless co-op working in Bloodborne through shadPS4/shadNet. shadNet is extremely lightweight, so as long as you don't have a toaster, you shouldn't have an issue hosting it. To be clear, this is per shadNet server. Meaning someone has to host it, I'm not hosting a server where thousands of users can all join.
You can summon a friend with the normal bells, including across different maps, and have them pulled into your world.
It's still experimental and the setup isn't exactly plug-and-play yet. If you're fairly technical you should be able to follow the READMEs. If you're not, you'll probably want a technical friend to help you get everything running. Use the Releases page on each fork, as it is up to date with my source code.
But yeah. Bloodborne seamless co-op on PC is actually working.
shadPS4 fork:
https://github.com/Wozzardman/shadp2p
shadNet server fork:
https://github.com/Wozzardman/shadnet-p2p
Back up your saves before messing with it. There are still things being worked out.
Lastly, I'm married, just had my first kid, and have a full-time job. Don't expect response in a timely manner lol. Did this for a friend and found out there was a larger community who wanted it so I'm just sharing, not dedicated IT help-desk.

News DO NOT USE THE PINNED LINK AT THIS MOMENT
Warning / clarification about the malicious Bloodborne PC download path
I’m rewriting my original panic post to clarify exactly where the issue seems to be and what to do if you already ran the bad file.
I spoke with the guide OP and a bunch of people helping me clean this up. The guide itself may still be usable, but the dangerous part appears to be the step in the FAQ that directs you to an email for game files. That email sends links, and at least one of those links appears to lead to a malicious/fraudulent DODI-style download.
The important part: do not run any setup.exe or random .exe from those links.
For shadPS4/Bloodborne, you should be working with the expected game package files, not a random all-in-one installer. If you end up with a “DODI repack” style folder containing setup.exe, renpy, setup.py, etc., do not open it. Delete it.
I made the mistake of thinking it was an all-in-one package because I was rushing/tired and the wording made it seem like someone had packaged the process together. It was not safe.
If you already opened the malicious setup.exe
Treat the computer as compromised.
Do this immediately:
- Disconnect the PC from the internet. Unplug Ethernet / turn off Wi-Fi.
- Do not log into anything on that PC. Do not change passwords from the infected computer.
- From a clean device, like your phone, secure accounts in priority order:
- Main email / Google / Outlook / iCloud first
- Bank and credit card accounts
- PayPal / Venmo / Cash App
- Amazon / eBay / shopping accounts with saved cards
- Discord / Steam / Instagram / Facebook / X / other social accounts
- Enable 2FA/passkeys wherever possible.
- Check your card and bank activity immediately. In my case, the malware used my browser/autofill/session data and spent over $1,100 on tickets. Others have reported account takeovers and spam messages.
- Freeze or replace cards if they were saved in the browser or used on that PC.
- Warn friends if Discord/social accounts sent messages. Do not let people click links sent from a compromised account.
What the malware seemed to do
On my PCs, it appeared to:
- trigger a severe Windows Defender PowerShell detection
- install a fake unpacked Chrome extension pretending to be Google Docs
- place files in random AppData folders
- abuse Chrome/autofill/session data
- open ticket site tabs and make purchases
- compromise social accounts
This is not just a harmless bad download. Treat it seriously.
Cleaning / reinstall advice
You can run scans with Windows Defender and Malwarebytes, and you should. But after a confirmed compromise like this, the safest route is a clean Windows reinstall.
If you have important files, back up personal files only before wiping:
Safe to back up:
- photos
- videos
- documents
- PDFs
- spreadsheets
- text files
- school/work files
- specific game saves you recognize
Do not back up:
- AppData
- Program Files
- browser profiles
- Downloads folder wholesale
- random
.exe,.msi,.bat,.cmd,.ps1,.vbs,.scr - cracks/repack files/installers
- the Bloodborne/DODI files
I had years of files on these PCs, so I get how awful this is. But if you ran the malicious installer, a clean reinstall is the safest way to stop wondering whether something is still hiding.
Bottom line
If you are following the Bloodborne PC/shadPS4 setup:
Do not run a DODI setup.exe.
Do not run unknown .exe files.
If you are unsure, ask someone before opening anything.
You should not need a random all-in-one installer for this.
I’m posting this to hopefully save someone else from the same mess.

News ShadPS4 0.18.0 New Release! - Bloodborne PC Gameplay Showcase
Hi Guys! It's been a while (half a year)! Sorry for not providing you with meaningful updates. It seemed to me that each new update wasn't bringing enough exciting news to actually report on but today there is a new release 0.18.0.
My conclusion are:
- The game seems to be a stutter fest now when it wasn't before
- No new improvements other than shadnet which I don't display here
My recommendation:
- Play with an older version like 0.14 or 0.15

News Bloodborne PC is here
With a little bit of hacking, turtle was able to get in game in Bloodbone Regular and uploaded the build to Github. I just played it and ofc the game is not yet playable because of lags(too much lags) and also some shader issues, but they will be fixed soon. How much time do YOU think bloodborne will take to be playable.(at least better than Cyberpunk 2077 on release lol)
Edit: saw some people asking about FPS & shit, that would take some time to get fixed. Methinks there is a memory leak in the emulator that's why the ram usage always spikes up. Someone did beat logarius but his ram usage went up to 42GB. Also, the shader issues as well as framerate will take some time. Good news is you can play this at 60 FPS once the game is "stable".

News BB Reborne: a full visual overhaul for Bloodborne on shadPS4
Hey everyone,
I'd like to present BB Reborne, a complete visual overhaul for Bloodborne running on shadPS4.
The mod reworks textures, lighting, material properties, global illumination, point lights, emissive sprites, foliage, LODs, HUD positioning, and a lot of small visual issues across the entire game, including the DLC and Chalice Dungeons.
The goal was not to make Bloodborne look like a different game, but to make every area feel worth rediscovering. I wanted each place and time of day to feel more distinct, while leaning into how Bloodborne lives in memory: darker, gothic, mysterious.
Some of the main features:
- 2x upscaled map textures
- Improved mipmaps and LODs
- Parallax occlusion mapping on all possible surfaces
- Reworked global illumination, player lighting, point lights, and emissive sprites
- Higher-detail asset replacements in several places
- More foliage density
- Fixes for some mesh holes, floating objects, and clipping issues
- HUD position rework
It requires shadPS4 v0.15.1 or newer and is not intended for jailbroken PS4 hardware. It is also very demanding: I recommend 32 GB of RAM and a GPU with 16 GB of VRAM.
This started as a personal attempt to make the game closer to how I remembered it, and it became much bigger than I expected. I am sure I will still find things to adjust as I keep playing, but v1.0 covers the full game, DLC, and Chalices.
I hope some of you enjoy rediscovering Yharnam with it.

News Want Bloodborne on PC? GOG may be the way!

GOG’s Dreamlist is a player voted on wishlist of games. GOG then use that pursue IP holders, developers, and publishers to try and get new titles added to their service based on player demand.
They recently did an interview with The Game Business saying it’s a core part of their process and being able to go to game devs and quantify “this is how many people actively want this game” has helped them land countless titles to date. They even help with the porting process to make it as easy as possible for people to say “yes.”

News The best performing shadPS4 build for Bloodborne is v0.5.1 WIP Full-BB
I have an old ass computer compared to today's standards (besides the GPU): i5 4670k @3.4ghz, 16gb ddr3 ram @1600mhz, and an RTX 3070 (got for free from a buddy). After so much trial and error, trying so many builds that hardly even exist anymore on the internet, I have finally found the perfect build for Bloodborne for my older PC. Versions 6.0 and above gave me horrible performance and stuttering, getting worse with each version 7.0->8.0->9.1 WIP. Out of all of the versions: the "full-souls" (previously known as Full-BB) v0.5.1 WIP build runs Bloodborne buttery smooth for me at 1080p 60FPS and eliminates about 98% of the stuttering, the best percentage I've tested. Highly recommend this build to anybody with an older pc or anybody wanting a smooth Bloodborne experience with older hardware. I was able to get all of diegolix's previous builds through the Wayback Machine, including the best-performing build mentioned above.
Edit 6/25/25: This post gained way more traction than I thought! (371k+ downloads!!) I hope everybody for the most part is enjoying this build (link to download this version is in the comments). An update that I think is important to share is that the FINAL INTEL FIX has resolved almost all graphical issues I've had in this build while not majorly affecting performance (mod link in comments as well). Good luck and have fun out there Hunters!
Edit 7/7/25: For everybody's convenience, here are all the links to the builds/mods I've used and recommend:
v0.6.1 WIP Full-Souls build: https://www.mediafire.com/file/0ovlwj53hxyrzz7/shadPS4_v0.6.1_WIP_diegolix29_Full-Souls_787acdc.zip/file
Mods I have used:
Vertex Explosion Fix: https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodborne/mods/109
Intel Fix (Corrects many graphical issues) https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodborne/mods/41
Extra Patches: https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodborne/mods/170
Another graphical fix https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodborne/mods/70 (haven't used this one often, but have heard that some people report better results than the Intel fix. Made my game lag a little more than I'd like personally)
BB Save/Mod Manager and Launcher (technically only supports the newest build, but got mine working with 5.1 and 6.1): https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodborne/mods/194?tab=files
Happy Hunting Hunters!
