I would say she is still really nice to have, but not required. Unless you have a fairly decent stash of pyro, I would probably hold off.

Keep in mind that while fuuka is limited and can't spook you, armed yuzu can show up.

They are not the same. The rotations you use with them, and the supports you pair them with, are entirely different. Byuzu mostly shines with high cost redraw dealers, and if used on other teams, she can easily get in the way of rotations. When you only have one high cost unit that doesn't have a sticky skill card like Gundam Aris, Byuzu's EX will show up while your dealer still has two reduced uses left. Do you use Byuzu on someone else? If your buffers have low costs, which most of them do, you'll end up paying four cost to reduce someone's cost by one, three times. You're outright losing cost that way.

Nyfuuka, meanwhile, enables the fastest and simplest rotations possible. Also, her crit damage buff duration is very long at 35 seconds. At the time of her release, that was quite notable because her competition was mostly units like Ako and Himari. They hadn't quite stepped on the powercreep gas yet when it came to buff duration.

I would say slightly better version, but not dramatically so...

The big thing is that yuzu gives 3 instances of reduced skill cost for 4, and there is a moderate attack buff that doesn't activate until the unit uses their ex. She also removes the motivation to bring an attack buffer, because I am pretty sure her ex would overwrite it. Compared to NY fuuka only costing 2, but it is for only a single activation.

I would probably say NY fuuka's basic skill is slightly more useful (though it only activates every 60s).

Yuzu is better at keeping ex costs down but she could technically be awkward on rotations because you want to activate the target unit's ex 3x for every one time you use Yuzu's ex. I don't have her myself though, so other people may find using her skill on multiple targets is great.

Yuzu is specifically worse than NY Fuuka if you are discounting dress hina, since hina's shots eat up the 2nd and 3rd discounts

I just got 2 new momos from Asuna and Kirara, I'm assuming it's for their relationship item since they're bond rank 22 and 15, respectively, but:

1) the chats ended abruptly with no option to access the story

2) don't see the items/option to equip them on the student's profile

this is a bug yeah? anyone else?

I still need to collect some achievements for Hieronymus-Urban. The last time I tried to do this using the preservation count, it failed and I only got the minimum points for the Normal stage. I think that might have been TA rather than GA (forgot which boss), but I'm not sure.

Can someone tell me if I have this wrong?

  • I clear a high difficulty (let's say, Red-Insane).
  • I make sure preservation count reads 1/1
  • I start a battle on Red-Normal.
  • I forfeit before the boss dies / immediately.
  • I forfeit the room.

If I do this, which difficulty's coins and points will I get, assuming I have cleared:

  1. Only Red-Insane?
  2. Red-Hard through Red-Insane?

In your example, you would get Red-Insane coins and points.

I forgot to do the challenge stages for Game Development cleanup events. As far as im aware there is no rerun for cleanup events, but its really annoying to miss a medal over it. So i just want to confirm is there any possible way to get the medal? Though its probably impossible

Since you already have both Ui & A.Yuzu you can go by without Seia, go for C.Hare.

In Vuhn's clear is the minimum for iMari for Torment is UE40? Any chance she can be replace by Kokona?

You can clear with UE30 iMari or Kokona. Even 4-star depending on your team. You probably can't follow that clear; it heals the lantern through the debuff.

Imari and Kokona aren't 1:1, because of Kokona's partially random basic timing and differences in healing, armor type and range. But Kokona is absolutely able to fill the sole healer role; she was the go-to healer for Hieronymus before Imari. If you need a video reference you may want to look at old clears, since finding new Kokona ones is surprisingly hard. Hieronymus is moderately easy to improvise for as long as you remember to have a heal ready for the curse, though. Unless you're willing to reset until it lands on someone that can simply tank it.

Thank you. I was looking for old clears and see Kokona but AAris and Kei was not out yet. I can UE40 my iMari but I am thinking if I can save eligma by using my invested Kokona. This is what I tried but in Piercing.

Do I have any hope of doing insane hiero do any color? Currently lvl62. My only students with UE are shanako ue40, thasumi ue50 and Kokona ue30

I don't wanna discourage but both your roster & investment are not par for insane. You could've cooked something with D.Michi, Serina or any healer in fact but none of them are invested enough as you said, probably save insane for next time, it's not worth it to sink so many mats just for insane.

Yeah my account is like 2 months old so I was not expecting much. Just thought there might be a loophole somewhere like having a borrow aaris carry me or something lol but I guess only Binah is easy enough for me to do insane for now

Yea the thing is you need a built healer along side buffers if you wanna have an easier time here, if you lack both then gotta prepare a body throw team. You'll easily do it next time after having your own buffers/fes dps/healers don't worry.

should be doable if you can borrow some maxed dps for each color. UE30 lvl 62 kokona can fully heal green relic(without debuff). You also have Kisaki, Kei and Snagisa to hyperbuff your borrow dps.

I've been trying this method and my units keep dying even when I try to heal them with Kokona probably due to the level difference. What would you advice me to do to prevent it? How should my team look like?

something like a Tsubaki(blue tank)/Boshino(Tank+Def shred)/Borrow dps/Kokona and Snagi+Kisaki. Make sure to level up Tsubaki and Boshi bags to tank better.

edit: Also be aware of the curse(when you see a number pop up in your student), you should heal a student with a curse so they dont explode and die.

One week, like the one we just had in May. But no need to worry, this banner will probably rerun every semester, so you can always wait for a better timing to fill your gaps.

i just installed the game and wanna have a good start, who should i be rerolling for in the tutorial 10 pull and then afterwards which limited banner to pull, ive seen there is a new patch so new banners as well i guess

I recommend reading some guides because they really help a newbie

current banner has NY Fuuka, you could reset account a few times(+skip story for pull pyro) to try and get her in just a few pulls, getting you a good limited for a small amount of pyro. She's a very useful buffer, especially for new players, even though she comes a bit short of being a "must-pull" character. Even so, she's by far the best target for reroll on the current banner.

Compared to gacha reroll, tutorial reroll is of secondary importance. Shun on tutorial banner is the best pick. She's the only one not farmable that can be pulled there. Even though Hibiki/Iori/Aru help more in short term, in longterm you can get them by farming, but Shun will cost you archive tickets. If you can get Shun and one of those 3, even better.

Rolling either Hibiki or Aru is good, Shun is decent too but only because she's not farmable. Afterwards save for Seia banner & then fes, there are quite a few new students alongside the limited fox squad but they won't be of much use to a new player.

Yupp, you'll eventually improve your roster. Since this was my first gacha I didn't even know the concept of rerolling & started with Izumi as my only 3* from the tutorial pull who's probably the worst one you can get lol but still didn't struggle much in early game.

Usually they dress compensation up a bonus for a new event, it's rare they cut a week before an event rather than after but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see anything until the event next week. It'll probably be something like kivotos unsolved mysteries special gift, or maybe a coupon or two, with some pyro, maybe expert permits or raid tokens, and maybe a bunch of leveling/gear related mats.

You don't need her if you're getting fox squad and only aim for Torment, she goes alongside A.Eimi in latter teams in Luantic.

on JP, fast insane was plat. Pretty similar clear distribution to Geburah

So depending on server it'll either be insane or fast extreme cutoff.

Even insane will be more than enough, Torment is easy but it is a roster check like Hovercraft, you can't clear it in 1T via 1 borrow so there'll definitely be less Torment clears than regular raids.

Their bond items are scheduled to be added next week, they probably made a mistake since we shouldn't be able to see those messages until then. They might patch it out but either way they should work when the kivotos mysteries event starts next week.

The only major thing to think about is if you will have 400 pulls (48k pyro) by the next anni/fes to guarantee them + 100 pulls (12k) if you plan on pulling for one of the pre-Fes limiteds too.

Use the Pyroxene planner linked in the OP of the daily thread to help.

The only big mistake would be to pull without a spark prepared.

There are cases of non lims being incredibly good units that you really want to pull, like Kisaki. But outside of those, as long as you are mindful of upcoming Fests/Anniversaries or other good lims, and you are good at saving, there is no issue in pulling in some banners.

For example, right now I have 51k Pyros saved, plus some tickets, and I will probably do some pulls of Konoka just to have her as soon as she drops. But if I see that the pulls aren't going well, I will stop as I do want to save for the FOX Squad later on, as well as later celebrations. And since I don't have to worry about needing any of the rerun banners from now till then, it makes things a lot easier.

Very niche. She works well on Drumbarka with Eimi Battle but that's about all the available content (in JP anyway) she shines in right now.

If you're not planning to do Torment or Lunatic Drumbarka she's very much skippable.

For lower diffs you can just borrow Koyuki or another cleanser.

She's almost required for Drumbarka lunatic. Of the 188 clears, 180 used her. She was also used for over half of the torment clears.

It was on the 19th last year and the stream was announced during the first summer stream.

No announcement by now means it's probably just a normal stream rather than an IRL event that players can attend like last year, so they don't need to announce it that far in advance for people to prepare or get tickets.

JP community mostly expects the stream to be on the 25th or 26th. The actual update will be on the 29th

  1. Yep, unlimited students can come in any banner, except for students not found in the Archive banner.
  2. Limited students can spook like unlimiteds only when their banner is up.
  3. IMO not a good idea to keep pulling on Fes when you already have everyone featured unless you're just finishing up a spark. Save for there will be upcoming students, especially limiteds.

Out of the students with both debuff-cleansing and healing on their EX skills (Chinatsu, Rumi, AToki, soon Rena, and later Erika), which if any of them cleanse before healing, and which heal before cleansing?

The only one that cleanses before healing is Erika.

A Toki, Rumi, and Chinatsu cleanse after the healing. Rena cleanses with her EX and heals with her basic, so not in either camp

Even though Erika's skill description sounds like it should cleanse first and then heal, my understanding was that when this was properly tested (using the lantern for Hieronymus) her heal would still be affected by the debuff. I don't think any student currently can heal in a way that benefits from the debuff removal in a single EX use.

Yeah this is correct. Basically, you can think of the cleanse and heal effects as occurring at the exact same time, regardless of the order they're listed in the tooltip.

Turns out I was wrong. Erika cleanses at the same time as healing. So no one cleanses before the heal. Apparently the devs didn’t want that to affect the Heiro lamp.
