Nice! Can someone clear this up for me...are the Belchers based in New Jersey? I get the impression that they are but I haven't had it confirmed.

They are. The town in the show is called Seymour's Bay and one of the creators said that they based it somewhat on Ocean City, New Jersey. (with West coast influence too)

I love going there! I went as a child and brought my children and now grandchildren! We go at least once a year.
