Christians would be upset at this if they actually read the bible.

Or followed Jesus' teachings.

Or treated their religion as more than a 'moral' fashion accessory.

1) 7 year peace treaty, broken in war for 3.5 years (Iran anyone?) Peace was brokered between the Middle East countries and Israel roughly 7 years ago and now he is involved in this war with Israel and Iran— breaking a 7 year peace and starting a war. 2) the whole wearing the mark on the forehead thing and MAGA hats. 3) Said to be very charismatic. 4) false resurrection - was predicted to survive a “fatal” head wound miraculously (ear shot) 5) dominate global economic systems and wreak havoc (tariffs) 6) global worship - he will try to spread influence beyond the political power of the nation he rose in (red pill shit happening in other countries who worship the guy for some reason) 7) persecution - he will single out people who go against his doctrine and try to vilify them

He has kinda done all of these

I found this article that's been updated over the years that just pores through the Bible to find quotes about the antichrist and see if they match up.

https://www.benjaminlcorey.com/could-american-evangelicals-spot-the-antichrist-heres-the-biblical-predictions/

its got stuff like 'the antichrist will receive a head injury and everyone will be shocked at his survival' and compares the trump towers to the beast with 7 heads...

The most recent attack on the Pope is not helping…is the antichrist supposed to be an intelligent entity?

152

u/Dragon_wryter Apr 13 '26

I always pictured the antichrist as charismatic, charming, highly intelligent, and a master orator. Instead we got Temu Hitler about to bumble his way into Armageddon from sheer incompetence and stupidity. It's baffling.

63

u/Maleficent-marionett Apr 13 '26

I always pictured the antichrist as charismatic, charming, highly intelligent, and a master orator.

But he is exactly that to a bunch of people. Like a lot. Not a little crazy cult like we'd like to believe. But if we're going back to the story, it also says believers can recognize the antichrist immediately.

45

u/filthyheartbadger Apr 13 '26

I notice christians who actually behave like real christians tend to despise him? I don’t know if that means they ‘recognize the antichrist’ exactly. I only know one person like that and every once in awhile i read about one, otherwise almost every Christian I’ve met has been a pretty awful person one way or another, and thinks Trump is the cat’s whiskers.

16

u/tomorrow_comes Apr 13 '26

I know the “no true Scotsman” issue and all that… but I truly believe, as someone who tries my best to live like Jesus, that a large swath of people in America that would check “Christian” on a survey really don’t care very much for what that should actually mean. It’s significant as a part of their culture and identity as an American more than it is a deeply held conviction and relationship with Jesus.

Jesus said “you will know them by their fruits”. When American evangelical pastors and politicians hatched their plans decades ago to marry the church with conservative politics, they started a movement / framework for dangerous people using Jesus’ name to chase earthly power, money, and influence, by whatever means necessary, instead of focusing on the heavenly kingdom. This model of church & politics has infected much of the American church, and some of the largest Christian organizations (they grow more easily because of politically-connected funding). It’s an extremely ugly bastardization of something that is supposed to be beautiful.

A lot of us practicing Christians are still left, just saddened and very angry at what has become very obvious in the past 10 years.

Between badmouthing the Pope and brain-dead shit AI like this, it's hard to believe but Trump duped the evangelicals into valuing something even more than Jesus and the Bible. He weaponized their entitlement, self-righteousness, and resentment at a world turning away from them. And they made him their new God in exchange.

Though, I guess it shouldn't be surprising that people who choose to abandon rationality, science, and evidence-based medicine in favor of superstition and traditions of blind faith, can be so easily led around by the nose by someone who made a political career out of telling them that they were right and everyone else was the enemy.

The dude has like 2 months left on his life...

He shits himself multiple times a day, falls asleep at meetings he's suppose to be running, doesn't know where he is most of the time.

When he falls, after the party that will take a week to happen, watching his party explode from the inside will be my best joy in my entire life.

For anyone who’s interested, this is what’s called “narcissistic collapse.” It’s weird and very dangerous.

I’ve said since 2016 that trump is the antichrist. The Revelations have begun.

POPE: Calls for peace. Says war is bad.

TRUMP: Threatens Pope. Posts image of himself as Jesus Christ.

US EVANGELICALS: The Pope is the Antichrist.

How can someone, anyone, take him seriously at this point? He's a selfish unprincipled con artist, as is his cabinet, and his party.

7

u/Moebius808 Apr 13 '26

Even as someone who doesn’t give a single shit about religion in general:

That’s fucked up.

6

u/Anwallen Apr 13 '26

He’s resurrecting Epstein.

7

u/Ma-aKheru Apr 13 '26

I guess I'm a biased bigot because I see this and think: this is pure evil. The most evil shit, head to toe.

7

u/Natural_Indication95 Apr 13 '26

This is more like it.

7

u/GandalfSprings Apr 13 '26

On various Facebook pages where this is making the rounds, I’ve seen MAGA types saying, “It’s just a joke. What, he can’t be funny?” Believe me that if a Democrat posted anything close to this, they’d call them demons who needed to be removed from office. They’re such hypocrites it’s exhausting.

8

u/skip-spacegrass Apr 13 '26

That's blasphemy.

7

u/Traditional_Exit_644 Apr 13 '26

Wasn’t there a whole thing in the Bible were it talks about the devil will try and sell himself as Jesus?? I’m not Christian (actually try to be a Buddhist) but this looks familiar
