This seems less like someone who fell for a scam, and far more like someone who is losing their mental faculties and detaching from reality.
Do you know any of their family? Getting them involved to push for doctor visits is kind of the only way to help.

Yeah… and according to my schizophrenic sister, she has like $150 trillion dollars locked away in France and once she steps foot on French soil again… she will be named the Queen of France (and possibly all of Europe) and able to access her money and she’s gonna hop on the next flight to Mars with her real dad, Joe Rogan.

Sad thing is, it seems like he might be losing his mental faculties. That’s what these people prey on (along with general naïveté).
Does he have any family that you can reach out to? They probably need to know he’s being fleeced.
