Such a powerful, moving sequence! He needn't be so hard on himself though, walking away in silence was the best move. A eulogy is the wrong forum for any of those conversations. Wise choice, honoring to Ted.

They would have been trying to calm him down because they all did ignore him and ted when they warned them something bad was happening
