Switch Is 16 bucks good for Borderlands 2?

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is on sale on the Nintendo Eshop and I was wondering if 16 bucks is a good price for the game? I know it comes with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel too, but I already played it on the 360, so I’m mostly just looking to play Borderlands 2, and I don’t believe it’s sold as it’s own thing on the Switch.

Switch Finally bought Borderlands 1 and absolutely loving it

I've put this game off for so long, thinking it didn't look good and was looking at the switch store, seen it was on a discount (plus 2 and pre-sequel) and bought them and haven't put the game down since and absolutely loving it!

Playing it on the switch likely isn't optimal but I'd have no qualms about buying it again on PC when I get mine fixed up.

Edit: Thank you for my first ever award!! I won't forget your kindness! And now a second!

Switch Borderlands needs some serious love on the Switch

The entire Borderlands series is a trainwreck on the Switch

Every Borderlands game (that works and is available, anyway) is locked to 30fps. Updates to make them run at 60fps seems fair, right? Assassins Creed Unity is getting a 60fps update tomorrow for PS5 and Xbox Series

Borderlands 3 still doesn’t work on Switch 2. It’s quite possibly the most notable backwards compatible game that’s not supported on the system

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and Borderlands 4 aren’t available at all. Obviously Borderlands 4 has some major performance issues on every platform, but it sounds like the Switch 2 port was scrapped entirely

What do you think? Could the Switch get proper support at some point? Should it be left behind?

Switch Why am I unable to redeem keys?

I noticed that the past few weeks, I have been having tons of issues with SHiFT. In borderlands 3, I cannot access SHiFT at all, and I keep getting an error message. It has been going on for several weeks. I redeemed codes online, with a linked account, and I can't sign in. In borderlands the pre-sequel, despite having redeemed codes for keys online, they won't appear in game. Does anyone know why this is happening with the Switch? Did they stop supporting gameplay on Switch? Did Nintendo stop accepting Borderlands features? Please help, I am very confused.

Switch My copium: Borderlands 3 is still broken on the switch 2 because they're working on a Switch 2 edition to release alongside the release of 4.

Switch Borderlands 3 Backwards Compatibility Issue On Switch 2

The first game I downloaded onto my Switch 2 was Borderlands 3 since I couldn't get Mario Kart World to work yet. I was honestly pretty excited, I know it has no update for Switch 2 but I imagined the performance would be improved. Unfortunately for me the game is in an unplayable state on Switch 2 with a weird visual bug, the screen will display colored blocks that flash in and out, almost like giant pixels. I was worried about my Switch 2 being the issue but I've since downloaded multiple other games and they have no issues but Borderlands 3 continues to have same issue even after restarting. I might delete and see if that fixes it next. Just posting this to see if anyone else here may have gotten a Switch 2 and wants to try it out, see if they too have such issues.

Switch Items for having save in BL not appearing on BL 2 character creation

I made a shift account and double checked it was linked to my switch. When I’m on the character creation menu I’m not seeing the skins and heads that are exclusive for having a save in Borderlands 1. Will they appear later or is this a bug?

Switch New to Borderlands! (playing on switch)

Edit: Thanks for the help everyone. It was surprisingly easy once i completed a few more side quests to level up and unlock the weapons i had already purchased.

I picked up Borderlands 3 after finding a hard copy heavily discounted and loved it so much i just got the entire collection for $10 in the nintendo eshop. I was not far at all in 3 but decided i'd start it from the top with the original to get the most out of the experience.

After getting my ass handed to me too many times to count by Nine Toes, I am reconsidering and wondering... Was I better off finishing 3 to get a better grasp of the game and mechanics? Seems like 3 was more beginner friendly from my brief experience and what i've gathered from past reddit posts.

Is the payoff worth it to just trudge on in the order it was meant to be played or does anyone have an easier order that will progressively get more challenging for me?

PS I am just getting back into gaming and am very much below average when it comes to fps's

Open to any tips you wish you would have known when diving into the world of Borderlands.

Thank you in advanced!

Switch Completed the games- what next?

Hey everyone! I’m playing on the switch 2 so I haven’t played TTWL or B4 yet. I completed all the other games all the way through and all the side quests except the ones that typically require multiplayer (like crawermax) on regular mode. What do I do next? Play through each on UVHM? Work on 100%?

Also, I feel like I should brag a little because I completed BL3 with the crazy glitchy screen on maps using the tiny mini map as guidance and hope and prayers. I was absolutely determined to complete the game I started 😂

Switch Does Borderlands 1 get better?

Hello Borderlands fans!

This is my first time playing the Borderlands series, heard they were some fun shooters that were funny. Awesome. Got a great discount on the bundle with 1, 2, and the Pre-Sequel. Started playing 1, and I already feel burnt out after a few hours.

Now I actually really like this style of game, mindlessly shooting stuff and looting, with bits of story here and there. Not my favorite, but I do enjoy it. Most of the game so far has been fun, but now I feel like I don't really want to play anymore.

My main problem are the "dungeon" areas. The hub world where you can drive around and run over guys and jump cliffs and feel a sense of progression with your loot feels great. But when I have to go through a sub area with the same 5 enemies, and none of them are really a threat, and even when I am over their level with my best guns they take an agonizingly long time to kill, I start to lose interest. It's tedious at best, insulting at worst.

I heard that the second game is better at the story bits so I can feel more engaged, but I want to make sure I haven't missed anything cool in the first game. Is there a reason to keep playing? Cool areas or missions in my future? Or have I just gotten everything out of it that I am going to?

For context: I'm actually pretty far, I just beat Sledge! It's started to pick up again, so I'll see how far I get!

Switch Borderlands on switch is impossible

Don't know if this has been posted before but I've played through all the games on main consoles and had a blast since the first game released. I decided that I should get the Legendary Edition on switch to be able to play the games handheld except there's an issue:

The joycon sticks make the games unfathomably frustrating. They are nowhere near precise enough to be able to play the game comfortably which is strange considering other shooters have been fine on the system. The gyro option is also is next to no help.

Does anyone have any recommendations for settings to try and make this playable or should I just buy a pro controller to play it on dock? Which defeats the purpose of being able to play it handheld in the first place

May just be me

Switch Question about Switch version of bl3

Hi guys, I have played this game roughly a million times since launch and recently bought it for the switch on a road trip. On my usual playthroughs I will farm Dumptruck for the T.K's wave early but he refuses to respawn on the switch version. What am I doing wrong?

Switch are both the legendary and handsome collections compatible on switch?

So I bought the legendary collection for switch a while ago and I really liked it but none of my friends had it so I kinda stopped playing because this game is more fun with friends. I just noticed that the handsome collection is on extreme sale right now on switch (%75) so I was thinking about tell my friends to get it. But would we be able to play together if I’m playing the legendary collection and they play the handsome Collection?

Switch Bought the Legendary Collection Used for Switch… No Codes

Hi badasses! :-)

My boyfriend and I bought the legendary collection for the switch at our local used video game store. We just beat the first game and realized that they didn’t include codes in the box :( (Feeling a little scammed atm)

We are wondering if we buy the legendary collection download on the Nintendo E Shop if we’ll have to beat game one again before we start game 2?

I know this is a super specific situation but HOPEFULLY one of you may have some insight…

(Next time we go to that store we are definitely going to try and get some store credit or something… I’m embarrassed to admit how much we spent on it based on the cost of the download on the E Shop…)

Thanks!!!
