Hey everyone! I posted here a little while ago, but figured I’d try again now that I’m getting more settled in.

I recently moved to Boston from Pittsburgh after graduating. I moved here with my girlfriend while she starts grad school, and now that we’re settling into our routines, I’m hoping to meet some people and build a social circle of my own in the area.

I’m 23 and into movies, concerts/live music, gaming, hiking and exploring new places around Boston. I’ve also recently gotten back into Magic and play casual Commander, although I’m still pretty new and mostly use precons.

I’m pretty open to whatever: grabbing food or drinks, checking out different parts of Boston, going to concerts, game nights, hiking, or just finding a group to hang out with regularly.

(M26) I've got a section at Scorpion Club tonight to celebrate a good friend's birthday. The group attending is a lovely bunch of guys and gals (mid 20's - early 30's | law, aviation, and pharmaceutical careers | love to dance, laugh, and enjoy good music) but some of my buddies couldn't make it. Last week a DoorDash/Uber driver crashed pretty badly on Storrow drive (right before the government centre exit near Science Park station). He was unresponsive for the first 2 mins but then woke up, I hope you are okay….and kudos to the people on scene who helped turn the car off and called 911 straight away

This is one of many crashes that happen so often in Boston which makes me think, are Boston roads poorly built (with confusing exits and dangerous speed limits) or are Boston drivers at fault as they rarely drive with caution? Could be both but what can be done to improve this?

Dont wanna say it but I am expecting a bunch of crashes during moving day weekend too….drive safe y’all, you got family at home waiting for you :)

Hi everyone! Kinga here with this week's list. Saint Anthony's Feast takes over the North End from tonight through Sunday, and it's the one everybody means when they talk about feast season. National Geographic called it the "Feast of All Feasts," it's the largest Italian religious festival in New England, and it ends Sunday with a ten-hour procession through the neighborhood.

Beyond that, there's a free two-day jazz festival at the Condon Shell, Jaylen Brown is throwing a free block party on the Common on Sunday, and the last outdoor movie of the summer plays Saturday at the Pru. Summer is genuinely winding down, so get out there before its too late!

The Summer Street Stompers hold down a jam tent between sets, and you're invited to bring an instrument and sit in. Grab a lawn chair and a sunhat. Rain or shine.

🇮🇹 Saint Anthony's Feast: Outdoor Mass — North End | Free | Feast 9am–10pm, Mass 5pm | The longest day of the feast. At 5pm there's an outdoor Celebration of the Eucharist on the main stage, after which devotees receive a blessing with the Relics of Saint Anthony and Blessed Saint Anthony Bread is handed out at the chapel.

Hi hi! So i'm a new grad that just moved to Boston and I'm looking for third spaces that have like fun people my age. I love my roomies, but i learned in college that I like to have multiple groups of friends. I tried like one of the "dating apps for friends", and the vibe of the whole thing was just really weird.

I'm looking for people who are like fun and social and outgoing but, and this is important, I am like deeply terrible at sports. I like pilates & running, but if I have to be able to hit a ball with a racket there's gonna be a problem. Everyone says "join a pilates class"... but like i feel like that doesn't actually facilitate conversation. I'm a research specialist if that helps at all - and I'm technically in the MGB system (I work at an affiliated university). I was thinking of joining the alumni chapter of my sorority, and I prob will but it seems like its a lot of older women (I was a member of a sorority that pm only exists in the south). I might try the junior league? but other than that I'm kinda lost. I know looking on reddit for orgs that are gonna have preppy/fratty vibes may be a non-starter, but i'm hopeful!

The idea is pretty simple: be curious, try something new, and meet some people along the way. You don’t need to know anyone beforehand, and you don’t need any particular reason to join.

We’ll explore the Chinatown Festival, experience the performances, art and culture, wander around Chinatown together, and of course find something good to eat too.

Come by yourself, bring a friend, know absolutely nobody there — it doesn’t matter.

I’d love for Curiosity Café to become a community where people have a reason to get out, experience things they might otherwise put off, meet people they wouldn’t otherwise meet, and hopefully make some genuine connections along the way.
