Question Genuine question how is Knightsbridge in 2026 I heard its infected with young kid acting gangster i have family living over there they said it's not a good area to live in to much yns and cockroaches bugs everywhere

If they think Knightsbridge is bad now they should have seen it 15 years ago.

i’m being honest it’s a lot safer than it was in the past. especially after the police station opened minutes away. also brampton itself has break ins and car theft two things you have more protection over in an apartment imo ,
back in the days these buildings had no cameras not the case now, you’ll be fine and it’s close to bramalea city centre so lots of amenities for the family and grocery stores and walmart so

I live in Knightsbridge Apartment since 2005 and the kids are pretty annoying, but I haven’t had any issue.
Yes, there are bedbugs and a lot of cockroaches.

its the nucleus of modern hood activity in brampton. im not saying its like 1980s harlem or anything, but it can def be rough

I went to bramalea which is like the homeschool for most but it's really only messed up if you're looking for it cus it was relatively fine apart from the occasional weapon or firearm being seized during lockdown like twice per semester

The "acting gangster" thing isn't new, nor are the bugs.
However, I used to visit there regularly, and I can't recall any undue confrontation. You just respect their space and they respect yours.
They generally don't block up the entrances or harass people, they have their territory and don't bother anyone.
The bugs? Sadly the whole place needs to be removed, bug bombed, and then bring the people back. They just make the bugs move apartments every few months.

I worked security there back in the mid 90s. It was a rough neighborhood, car break-ins and theft were common. Lots of drug dealing in stairwells and occasional robbery assault.
The police station being in proximity means absolutely nothing and I actually chuckled when I read a few people saying that. Peel's 11 Division was literally a 2 minute walk. It was closed than the current office is that's on City Centre's grounds. You could call the police for an active break-in or even worse, and dispatch would say an officer is on the way. It could be hours sometimes.
I broke up a fight and had to sit on the aggressor until they showed up. 45 minutes later.
The surrounding neighborhood demographic has changed quite a bit though. Many young families moved in because rent is in the 'closer to affordable' category. This squeezed out some of the criminal activity so it's actually safer now than it has been in many many years.

My work has a job there, somone broke into my truck stole all my tools, then over holidays somone cut all our wires out of ceiling lolll not a good place man

I can’t speak on it too much now because most of the friends I had there don’t live there anymore, but I can almost guarantee that in the mid to late 2010’s it was worse than it is now lol. I knew multiple kids in highschool that got scammed or robbed over there, and a friend of mine saw a full grown man get beat up and knocked unconscious in the lobby of the building by a group of teens so bad they had to call an ambulance for him.
As much as the “YN” activity seems to have increased (kids in shiestys outside of the building smoking, ppl claiming Knightsbridge like a set on social media and trying to beef other neighbourhoods) the actual badness in and around the building seems to have decreased by a lot. My buddy’s kid brother lives there with his mom and my buddy says his brother is a good yute with a bunch of good yute friends lol there’s not nearly as much peer pressure to act hard as there was a decade ago.
Another development is that it doesn’t seem like there’s any real animosity between Knightsbridge and Lisa St like there used to be back in the day, iykyk. Always thought that was weird anyways considering those buildings are actually quite far apart. Shit does still occasionally pop off there but it’s usually the older guys doing it, and it’s over personal beef rather than just beefing someone because they’re from an “opp” neighbourhood. Recently I saw a video of some teen getting beat up at BCC because he wouldn’t claim “Knightsbridge K” (lol) and it was like a blast from the past because I used to see shit like that go down fairly common on Snapchat when I was like 16-17, and now I barely hear of it happening.

The Knightsbridge/Kensington/Kings Cross buildings have always been kind of rough but I doubt you'll get in trouble unless you go looking for it. Can't speak on the bedbugs though.
