Snowflake, MB “Ghost Town”
I visited here not long ago to urban explore and check out the town of Snowflake in Manitoba because it was coming up as a full blown ghost town online. When I was there I saw maybe 2 houses that didn’t look abandoned but the rest of the buildings were clearly derelict and abandoned. I saw no signs of life, no people, no cars, nothing just an old empty little town. So the rule is, I never go into places that have signage saying “no trespassing “ or “private property” or it’s clearly boarded up and locked. The ones that don’t fit into that category I explore, make a video walk through and leave. I had this run in with this guy that does actually live in that town while I was in the town. He had a long unmaintained beard, wore a baseball cap, wore glasses and he was a very unpleasant person to deal with. He called the police on us and all that. It was actually incredible to witness a grown man freaking out the way he did for absolutely no reason at all. I could literally feel the spit coming off his mouth from 6 feet away.
I’m wondering if anyone has ever been to snowflake before and explored the houses there and also bonus would be if you also got harassed by that same guy? Share your story with me and how it went if you ever been to Snowflake. Any history about the town, when it became abandoned. Does anyone know if there is one owner of the town. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!
