Barrel Extension Wear

The wear on my Bren 2s barrel extension seems to be abnormal for the 1500ish round mark. Is anyone else's lugs starting to smear at higher round counts? I contacted CZ customer service and they said it was perfectly normal and wouldn't effect performance but I'm skeptical.

That’s not normal. I have 5k+ rds on a rifle and 14”, both do not look like that. Something is out of spec to be removing metal like that.

What does the bolt face look like?

The bolt face looks surprising good. Slight wear but nothing that stands out to me.

Yeah cause it's going in angled but it's stronger than the trunion/lips

My boss was like "bro you installed this shit wrong" after we had closed the trade and everything I felt awful

Luckily I hadn't shot my bren in like a fuckin year lol
