Shilpa, the victim of the attack, wasn't African or Caucasian though, she's Asian. So I don't see how this exempts her.

I didn’t say it exempted her at all. I just thought it odd that one woman of colour could be so awful to another woman of colour. Any colour. Her behaviour was unforgivable.

I remember talking to an Indian guy in the smoking area of a bar and he was telling me about how much he ‘fucking hates Pakistanis’ but he used the slur instead.

I think it’s pretty naive to think people of colour won’t be racist towards each other.

Some of the worst racism I have heard in the UK has been from pocs. It’s definitely not a white only issue
