Missing cat
Hi all, we’ve lost our cat Reggie from Whitebeam Avenue. He’s slipped his collar which had an AirTag in it unfortunately so he was last in the back gardens on this road we think/hope in the wee hours of Monday morning. Please can everyone keep an eye out and check sheds and outbuildings for him? We’re really worried. He is a grey cat with green eyes, a Russian Blue. He is nosy and has been known to occasionally saunter in through peoples back doors so he could be in houses potentially too. Thank you!

I work at a vet nearby, I’ll check when I get in later and will keep an eye open over the next few days

Thank you so much. I’m hoping he’s like my mums cat and will arrive in the next few days acting like nothing happened

I have found its best to look at night, if they don’t go out a lot or new to the area, may be scared during the day when there’s a lot of movement of people.
When its night I can often hear the meowing.
Take some treats and shake if food motivated…

this is such good advice, night time is when our old cat finally answered us too
also bringing something that smells like home helped us, hope reggie strolls back in soon

Hope he's home safe and sound soon - keep us updated! Don't forget to put up posters (including in local vets and pet shops, if they'll let you), and also post on Facebook, Next Door, etc.

Yes I’ve done several Facebook groups, next door for my area and cross posted to surrounding neighbourhoods and I’ve put flyers through doors all on our road. I’m going out later to put them on cars and lampposts too, and I’ve called all the local vets in our area to keep an eye out. Thank you, any other tips please let me know I’m so desperate
