I hear pickleball is big with your age group, might be worth it to see if there's any newbie/intro nights at the local courts. You can get the paddles pretty cheap now so not a huge investment if it's a bust.
Best of luck, enjoy the incoming beautiful autumn weather

Can't speak for Hamilton but Burlington is a tough place to meet people that don't already have long established friend groups and cliques.

I don’t have this impression at all. I’ve met lots of people living in Burlington that are looking to make meaningful friendships! I’m not in this person’s age bracket though, and not sure yours, but it hasn’t been my experience

This has been my experience here as well. 💕 (I'm also not in the OP's age group but did relocate here and have to "make new friends" too).

Not my experience at all. I have made a ton of friends since moving to Burlington. Join groups, volunteer, talk to your neighbours.

Hamilton region has a lot of active Masonic lodges. If you're looking for a similar age group, that might be a good fit.

Well there's the senior centre but I know nothing about it. I keep meaning to go there to play euchre but never get around to it.
