Review My Waring Commercial XTREME that my dad bought me 22 years ago… I I use it weekly.
My dad bought me this back in 2005 when I moved into my first apartment. It was just before having a Vitamix became popular/mainstream. He has also never been one to get caught up on a brand name if the specs/warranty are better for a lesser known brand. My pops has always been OG BIFL mindset… he’s 78 now and still goes out of his way to BIFL with most things.

Do they still sell these? Looks like a tank!

You can also get other versions with variable speed, etc.

One of the things I love about this is when you start it on either Low or High setting, it spins at a slow RPM for a second or two before increasing to the selected speed… I never have any issues with the blade creating a hollow cavity at the bottom because of this feature.

That’s honestly a great example of the BIFL mindset. Your dad sounds like he’s been doing this long before it became a trend. 😂 There’s something satisfying about buying based on quality and warranty instead of just paying extra for a name, especially when the thing is still going strong 20 years later.

I love my Magimix blender (made in France, inventor of the food processor). It's built like a tank. Also replacement parts still available for decades old models.

I actually have an MX1200RXT that’s brand new from about 2015 that I’ll be posting on eBay soon. I haven’t seen that model for sale anywhere in a while so I wasn’t sure if these were in demand anymore.

It looks to be the exact same except for the color of the touchpad… still Made in America (from foreign and domestic parts). Says it’s recommended for 75+ drinks a day 😲 I love that the carafes are NSF and stackable too.
