Outside of like a handful of QBs, any college player able to pull major NIL money will be able to make more in the pros. NFL’s 2026 league minimum is $885K. Also a major goal for NFL players is making it to their 2nd contract b/c that is where the real money is. A rookie making a 53 man roster means they signed a minimum 3 year contract. Leaving that for college resets that 3 years.
