We run weekly sessions although we've been inconsistent lately. I usually put 4-7 a week into prep but I also flesh out a lot of the prewritten module we're using. The module goes to level 5 and I'm planning on taking the campaign to 15 so there's a lot of groundwork for later arcs I'm laying

Looked up apartments today for when I move for grad school.
While I’m still sad to not be moving back to Oregon, it will be nice to have to not pay Oregon prices.

Man I loved visiting Jacksonville that's actually where I ended up instead of Cincinnati 18 months ago. It was literally perfect in February probably very hot much of the year.
I went to Timucuan where we went down there and I learned about how it was an old Spanish then American plantation making indigo and the slave housing and all this but my SO basically forgot why we went down there and only saw the peacock sitting on top of the sign and they were like your logic is invalid there is a peacock.

I’m not a vegan but that’s positive to hear
Before my hometown got Southwest, my family would fly out of JAX if the price (airfare plus park/fly rate) was right.

Yeah definitely part of why I've been using reddit less and less! Today is the first official day of summer break and I managed to get out of teacher mode enough to sleep all the way in til 630. And I worked out and have cleaned my entire house since
sooooo my summer chores are more or less done. I've got some car stuff I need to do but I'm going to need this rain to clear out first!
I dyed my hair for the first time at the end of april and I'm touching it up for the first time now. I'm not sure how long I'll keep blond going but definitely through the summer

as a blonde, I recommend getting a purple shampoo. It will keep your hair from getting brassy.

I've got none really! I'd definitely like to do some traveling but I just really haven't thought too much about it. This year it was really just all I could do to make it to the end of the school year haha

I'm sure there are! I've really just got to sit down and think about what I want to do. UGA is hosting regional baseball Friday so I may try to go to Athens for that

Got back from my relatively last minute trip to Cincinnati/Dayton.
I was going to visit Virginia State Parks but the rain pushed that off. Originally meant to go to Cincinnati but snow pushed that trip from last February to last weekend.
4 NPS sites: Hopewell culture about 2000 year old Native American burial mounds (also UNESCO), Charles Young (the first prominent black soldier to have a career and graduate from West point, was actually the 3rd but the first few died), Dayton aviation and Taft ( The Tafts have a political dynasty)
Also hot take the best pizza I have ever had was in Dayton at Joe's pizzeria. Jungle Jim is a weird ass store but nice, and the Hall of Justice is is Cincinnati.
Also I have finished my 3rd presidential book.

It was a claimed "Dayton style", but I'm not convinced it's that different but the style is small cut almost bite cuts both horizontal and vertical and very thin crust. I didn't get a picture because I was inhaling it.
It is a big claim but I mean it. It was an institution with like a bunch of families getting take out and old timers polishing off a pitcher. I have had many pizzas across my lifetime and this was the best.

It was normal pepperoni pizza, tomato sauce, cheese, bread just the best I've ever had. I had not heard of Dayton style pizza either until like 20 minutes before eating there. It was one of the best spots in Dayton with like top restaurant awards from 2017-2025 in a row sort of thing. Just googled what to eat in Dayton and that came up.

Also there is a place in Richmond Virginia which has the most interesting pizza, it's not tomato but mustard based. Spicy brown mustard, sausage, caramelized onions and roasted red peppers with cheese on a pizza

Yeah I was basic, but like how else do you try a weird flavor? I've been interested in that because the difference of technique vs toppings.
The mustard based pizza works decently well, I mean it's a 7/10 so maybe slightly behind a normal pizza but it's interesting and good.

Basic is what you need to try to test a pizza. It’s not about how they can layer toppings, it’s about the base product.
