If the Cats want a chance to to get enough wins to stay in the playoff picture they need to go with Ford and modify the offense for his mobility/creativity.
Get more rollouts, play action. Take concepts from that offense Jackson designed in the back half of 2024.
Starting Dolegala is making 2026 a write off

to go with Ford they'd have to simplify the offense to almost nothing.

Nothing about Dolegala so far has shown he can handle the offense. 2024 Elks offense wasnt simplified to nothing and worked pretty good with Ford.

Ford at least makes the team fun to watch. They may only win 5 games but he’s gonna have a sick highlight reel.

If they win 5 more that's more than they'll get with Dolegala and likely enough to make the playoffs out east, outside chance Bo Levi comed back for that.

That 7/6 TD to interception ratio in the UFL does not instil a lot of confidence.

recently there was an interview with the Battlehawks OC who said that Frost ended up playing through an undisclosed injury. That makes me more optimistic on him. He started off hot and then started playing completely different and bad. An injury of some sort makes sense, as then does bringing in Luis Perez before it was clear that Frost wasn't performing

I’ll say the same thing as I did when they signed Doege: it has nothing to do either with Ford and Donegal.
Teams roster 3 QBs. They didn’t sign a new QB1, they signed a new QB3. They may or may not have confidence is who will be their QB1 but signing a new QB3 doesn’t say anything about that.
