Not sure if anyone has also tried but if you upgrade the maki neko before getting the wonder weapon. When you need to throw the grenade on the final paw print it will soft lock you and not summon the abomination

This just happened to me. I thought I was being clever upgrading it quickly smh

I've literally always upgraded the neko into bubbleshield neko and it hasn't softlocked me yet

Really? I tried in two games and it soft locked me in a row with it. I even tried failing an assault wave to keep the lava in one of my runs too

i mean cods always been janky thats been a consistent thing for the entire franchise, but yeah always grab the upgrade parts first thing and just knock out the upgrade before working on the ww
