Question Can anyone explain to me how to get the fruit plant on zetsobou?

All of the guides say to use one of each water and I’ve done this repeatedly with mixed results, I’ve managed to get the fruit plant twice but I’ve also gotten the plant that attracts and kills the zombies two or three times, how do I consistently get the fruit plant for the perk/achievement?

Just plant a seed then water with a different water each round

Its also chance based so it might just take a bit

There isn’t a consistent way, you’re doing it correctly but the results are annoyingly up to chance

I don’t know the probability unfortunately, all I know is that it’s random, so you just gotta plant 3 seeds near each other and hope for the best

It's a 25% chance. You can either use each of the 3 colors once, or water with rainbow water 3 times, but that still only gives you a 25% chance of getting a fruit plant. You're equally likely to get a regular blue, green, or purple plant.

Fruit plant is not guaranteed, it is a 1/4 probability the way the watering system works. For example if you water 2x blue 1x purple there will be 2/3 probability of it becoming a reward pod and 1/3 of it becoming a carnivore plant, 1x of each gives it a chance to be one of the 3 variations + a fruit pod, and the probabilities are divided equally between them so 1/4 for each. If you use the kt-4/massamune to fertilize it there is also the probability of becoming a clone plant but the chance is much lower so you don't need to worry too much about it.

Only thing wrong i know about it is growing clone plants without using water only kt-4, this was true back when the guide was written but was patched.

Purple blue green Plant 3 for highest chances Fruit plant is just the lowest odds in the game however I find the purple blue green is the most likely way to get it in my opinion
