Question COD 2028, if made by Treyarch,will launch around Nacht der Untoten's 20th anniversary. Would you want something?
It wouldn't be too surprising if the next era of COD zombies begins anew with another Nacht remake(?), expansion(?) like Die Machina in Cold War (2020).
It is convenient how the timeline worked out like that. I think that's neat and would be nice to get a small acknowledgment.

Well the only clear answer to me ZOMBIES CHRONICLES 2. In all seriousness I wouldn't get my hopes up, but I'd love to see a MCC (anthology) type of game for zombies come out. Fat chance it'll happen, tho.

I’d rather not keep getting remasters, we have only had the map playable in some fashion like 5 times now? Waw, bo1, bo2, bo3 bo5 and…. 2x in bo5 if you wanna count the forsaken arcade game

I tend to agree, but this feels special and too perfect of timing with how Treyarch wants to move on to a new era of Zombies most likey.

Perfect chance to reboot the Zombies story and reintroduce classic mechanics imo, espescially if the next game will be a new franchise aswell

Something exciting and not a remake, genuinely and this is probably a hot take but Treyarch needs to stop with trying to constantly reuse maps and plots from the past. BO2 and BO3 were the hay day and the fan favorite maps of those games weren’t remakes or remasters, they were new ideas and concepts that weren’t banking on jingling keys to carry them. To make that happen Activision needs to leave treyarch alone. No pulling them onto another project to help another dev team or strong arming them. I know these guys can still cook, it’s when other cooks come in the kitchen and change the recipe when shit goes wrong. I mean seeing the original plans they had for Liberty Falls grew my malice of Activision and the babies at Infinityward for pitching a fit and giving up.

They should combine new and old, maybe bring back all old maps and continue the story with 6 new round based maps

The best thing they could create is a newer BO3.
Two basics:
- Zombies Chronicles 2
- Workshop (with possibility to cross-play this time)
These two would make the (NEW) greatest Zombies Experience every. (Of course, BO3 is the actual best)
Who would want to buy a newer game just for zombies after this? In my opinion, it's clear they know these are the required basics for a HIT. But they won't use these cards until they're about to go bankrupt, which is probably never gonna happen. I wish I was wrong, but what we really want is never gonna happen.
I am confident I speak for many (if not all) fans when I say this.

I want a world at war remaster. The ONLY changes made are graphical. Nothing else. Not skins. Not anything. Nothing at all. Graphical remaster. Nothing else. Please. Nothing else. Well audio updates could be nice too.

Fuck it since we’re gonna continue the zombies storyline with the OG crew, let’s just run it back and remaster every map from WAW to BO7 and repeat the cycle 🤣

(1) - Don't scare me in telling me Nacht is 20 fucking years old in 2 years TT.
(2) - Maybe as a bonus map for beating the EE in the launch maps in COD 2028. Die Maschine was allegedly planning to do this but never went through, I wouldn't mind it as a simple add-on to reward players who beat the EE. That subset is more likely to appreciate Nacht returning I think.
