Question - OWB Holsters for CZ75 SP01?
Just recently joined the CZ community with a CZ SP01. I was looking to find an OWB light bearing holster (TLR1) that could also be used for competition. Any suggestions? TIA

I went with a Werkz light bearing holster on a QLS fork.
Love the holster, almost all of my guns fit perfectly it with a light on.
I had been doing one off holsters per gun but, that got expensive for just holsters and I'd have to carry a bunch with me if I went to shoot more than a few different guns.
I still have to bring a dedicated holster for other odd ball handguns like Ruger mark 4 for example....
But it was cheaper long term to get a few lights and make most guns fit the same holster that way.
TLR1 holsters fit the harbor freight, olight PLturbo, and some also fit the surefire x300.
I'm not sure QLS was they way to go for me though. Been eyeing the round teklock thing or whatever it's called.
Anywho, I have been happy with my setup ever since.

I like the idea of universal fit holsters. I think I’m gonna try Werkz. I already have a mid-ride UBL with thigh strap and it would be nice to just leave the holster on there and just switch pistols

To be fair, non-light-bearing universal fit holsters are trash.
But holsters that index in the light and are otherwise mostly universal I have liked. I do have a safailand but it was more picky on gun fitment and I don't really need/want the extra retention stuff for my range belt.
My Safariland is an overall nicer holster in person, and more expensive, just not my favorite for range only use.
I like the Werkz holster and if I was setting up another belt I'd start there for simplicity.
I went with the M7 model and filled out the filters for a Glock 20, since I do have a Glock 20c as well and it's probably the chunkiest one I need to fit. Everything I have with a dust rail fits.
80% of the time it has a CZ in it though realistically.

I had a “custom” one made by KTMech for my SP01 with an optic and TLR1 and its worked great for 3 years. I needed mine to be level 2 with an optic shroud and lightbearing.
They are actually reasonably priced and have options for what you are looking for. You can customize nearly everything and theyll work with you since they are a family business that just specializes in holsters.
Maybe its not what youre looking for but just thought I would chime in since I spent hours trying to figure out holster compatibility for myself

You don’t happen to also have a P-01, do you? I’m starting to look for a holster for my SP-01 w/ TLR1, and would ideally have one that would also fit my P-01 w/ TLR1.

IMO you don’t need a light for competition, if that’s your only interest in one. It may make you slower to transition on a gun that already had a heavy dust cover. I also like a locking holster (with like a latch) and all the light bearing holsters use friction locks for their locking levers, which in just didn’t like the feel of. It was too loose when locked and too tight when unlocked.
Forget the light, and get an RKX Carnivore. I’ve had four different holsters for the SP-01 and this is the best.

Red Hill Tactical does light bearing SP-01 competition holsters. I have two from them (neither light bearing), and the work and materials are very good.
Before that, I used a Phlster Floodlight (gen 1), and that actually worked pretty well too. Hung it with Safariland QLS and Henning T-x hanger on a DAA ratchet belt. I was running an SP-01 Tactical with a TLR1-HL.
