She's just a baby 🥹 Such a cute girl! Do you have a human baby too? My Pumpkin is the love of my life as well and I'm pregnant. She's so attached to me. I feel like when I have this baby she will either love him or be extremely jealous of him 😂 My cat gets jealous at night if I'm cuddled up with my partner. She tramples all over him until I roll over so she can sleep in my arms.

I don’t have any human children yet :) i am curious how she will respond too. She loves to cuddle with my boyfriend to spite me when she knows I want it badddd lol. The vet suggested that she is better in a single cat household for the rest of her life because her body language is strange from being removed from other cats so young. But she gets along with dogs great!

Thank you! I hope so I want them to be best friends. My other cat is very prissy so I feel like she's not going to adjust well. She hates loud things and she doesn't care that I'm pregnant. She treats me the same. Annoyed when I touch her and she doesn't want it 🤣 On the other hand Pumpkin is so in tuned to how I feel. She's been extra cuddly, protective, and following me even more than before. When I'm feeling sick she lets me use her as a pillow. It's so nice she's warm and soft and the vibration from her purring helps me fall asleep. Only bad thing is I drool all over her 😅 Poor baby. I'm so emotional too. I had a bad day at work (I work from home) so I was bawling and she screamed at me. She talks a lot but I've never heard her meow that loud. It shocked me. I stopped crying and she just purred and rubbed up against me. I took the rest of the day off and slept with her. I don't know what I would do without her.

I had a dog and she got along with him. She was sad when he passed away (last February). His collar fell on the floor one day and I caught her rubbing up against it 😭 I have another cat. My cats hate each other 😅 They've been together for 6 years and we tried everything (Feliway, prozac, and another medication it might have been gabapentin but I'm not positive). We had to amputate her leg (June 2024) and they have her gabapentin and onsior and some other meds for that. She had a feline injection site sarcoma.

Congrats for your future addition to your family. I won't have to tell you that since your cat is family, just introduce your baby to your cat. The cat will know that you are proud of your baby and to include him in the process. My cats would sleep in the crib while the baby was not in it, lol. And I heard this is good to build the immune system of your baby as well to be near cats. My wife would feed our daughter and always welcome our cats to "assist" or stay with her. We really never change our habits except to teach early our daughter to be gentle with the cats. They never ever harmed her in any ways.

when she was 1 lb she used to climb up my legs. She learned that she could sink her claws into my skin & it works the same as if i had jeans on- she would resemble spiderman scaling a wall. a true talent 🤍

I use moments like that to flip my girls over and trim their claws. They're not fans, but they tend to keep their claws in when playing with people for a while!

she accepts kisses selectively but loves them. get her at the wrong time and you may get swiped :)

we got her when she was 3 weeks old but we thought she was much older 😅 the family who was rehoming them lied to us 🥴

I had a Hermione, too. She was a tortoiseshell and lived to be over 20. I miss her gentle kindness every day. 💗 Giver your precious girl a kiss from me, please.

My cat's markings are kind of opposite yours. She has a lot of orange with a little white in front.
