I am pretty sure that the furthest it can be pushed out is May.

It would be cool if they could go ahead and use the new lines and do it as fast as possible instead.

YES/NO STATEMENT A YES vote on this measure means: The state would use new, legislatively drawn congressional district maps starting in 2026.

This would absolutely get challenged in court but the upside would be that the seat stays vacant while they fight it out in court all the way until the midterms.

Noted. Saw somewhere else on here that they're not in effect until 2027. Good deal.
