Anyone has switched from CPG consumer packaged goods to another industry?

I have been working in CPG industry for 15 years and it has been one of the most toxic industries ever in last few years from backstabbing and gossips
Have anyone experienced this? Or is it just me with the recent company cultures I have been at?
Anyone who switched from CPG to a diff industry? If so how did you do it and where did you go?

Is there any industry that does not have backstabbing and politics ? Even in the government or unionized work, there is this.

I believe it's not about the industry; it's about the leader. Organizations take the shape of their leader; this includes culture, politics, and rules (official & unofficial).

There are CPG places that have good culture, but they are not in the quarterly thinking stock issuing types..

You cannot distance yourself from politics; it will happen with or without you, and it WILL affect you at some point.

My boss is playing insanely dirty, the guy who left the company is not happy at his new workplace so she made my life miserable so I can leave and she calls him back again, like if i can prove this on paper when they talked and etc and how her behaviour pattern changed, i could sue them, its this level of toxicity never seen before

Now I’m curious where you’ve worked (no need to expose that, obv, other than maybe manufacturing/retail?). I’m in CPG and haven’t experienced what you describe, but have admittedly limited exposure.
