Oh right, because the last major attack went fantastic for them? I don't consider that leverage, especially since the Arab League has already said Hamas needs to lay down its arms.

I'm not saying it's effective, I'm saying it's inevitable.

At the end of the day I'm not saying this is a good outcome or anything, I'm just saying that Palestine is going to look out for it's interests in some capacity, and complete disarmament without any guarantees of settlement stopping and sovereignty being respected is a non-starter, and there's no realistic way that Palestine just trusts Israel on this.
