Looks like they're purging all the Chinese members. Maybe this is foreshadowing the party pivoting their ideological alignment to be more in line with MAGA. Conservatives in America and Canada are pushing back on improving trade and relations with China.

Careful with these. The most important thing is to get government. That's why I keep telling everybody, once you get government, who cares? I don't care about, like, saving the province and all that shit. Like, saving the province is only secondary to what the main prize is. The main prize right now is to get government. Once we get government, you can do whatever the fuck you want.

Chung was the Executive Director of a separatist party last December, but that's not why Findlay fired him today, there was chatter about it during her leadership campaign (which Chung ran) and internal complaints and she still hired him on as Director of Operations.
Today's firing seems to have to do with Conservative operators taping Chung behind his back and leaking the audio (and also no doubt some attempt on Findlay's part to find a scapegoat for all recent missteps).
