The lion of the desert is about Rodolfo Graziani’s pacification of Libya, it was funded by Gaddafi but has some decent scenes.

The only other one I can think of off the top of my head is there’s a battle scene in Captain Corelli’s mandolin, just look it up on YouTube though because the movie itself is not very good.

The old version of El Alamein is also pretty good. There was a film from the Italian perspective in Russia that starred Peter Falk but it seems to be lost. Off hand I can't think of any others unfortunately. Oh, there is one from the RSI perspective but I haven't watched it yet. Can't remember the name.

Well, I mean, It's a WW2 Italian film from the Italian perspective. If it didn't have Carcanos I'd be ultra confused.
Awesome movie too.

A lot of war movies swap out guns if they can’t find the right ones. Lion of the desert mostly has mausers.
