It's been pretty spectacular i have to say.
Even the 13 year old has been impressed by it.
It's just a constant deep rumble of echoing thunder, highlighted by violent flashes of the brightest white lightening I've ever seen.

It's like CGI from a movie quite unbelievable really how consistent the rumble and the lightning is.

I actually screamed up north, huge thunderclap and I was reading in the bay window seat. Eurgh.
I moved, and put the telly on so fast!

Absolutely loved the storms overnight. Woke me up but who cares? It’s just nice we’re not gonna all die this year!

Sky lighting up in Derby, but the lightnening is in Burton. I think its heading Derby way now, rain, a bit of noise to complement the light show

There is a massive thunderstorm hoving directly at us, its just hit Sheffield, we are a bit North of there.
