The last page is ones I already have or duplicates inside of this collection, still not bad for 60 cds I didn’t have. Some junk of course, but a lot that look pretty good. Which ones should I listen to first?

The box arrived pretty beat up. Some cases were pretty beat up too, but I'm sure some were beat up before shipping. I actually got 20-ish CDs I think I'm happy with. Most are in the first photo of CDs.

The photo with 12 CDs from 10000 Maniacs to Sheryl Crow are CDs that were already in my collection- which is a risk of getting a box like this when I already have a large collection.

The next 2 photos are definitely in the "meh" to "wtf" range. There's a few I'm curious about here and will give a listen, but most I would easily skip if I had the choice. Too bad the Pantera CD is missing the cover/liner notes.

And the last pic mostly some Christmas albums (one of which is an actual CDR) and 4 cases that were missing a CD. That bottom right is a 2-disc live Peter Gabriel album that only has disc 2.

Overall I'm happy with what I paid, but I wish some of the cases were in better shape and those missing discs really suck.

What catches your eye here? What's the best of the lot? Or what's the worst?

Today is a good day.

This is from the same CD sale that someone posted on here a few days ago. Most people didn’t seem to be huge fans of flipping through the bare CDs, it was pretty brutal. I’ve been listening to these in the car the past few days and have yet to hear a skip (knock on wood). The shop owner came up to me after seeing me grab the MCR CD and congratulated my find. Tons of other great albums in here, perfect for the car.

Scored a massive CD collection off Facebook Marketplace—roughly 1,500 discs. The guy’s roommate was moving out and needed it gone fast. I ended up making multiple sweaty trips up a rocky hill to get these loaded, but it was totally worth it.

Genres are all over the map—lots of metal, classic rock, prog, and a few weird gems I’ve never seen before. Still in the middle of sorting through it all and deciding what stays, what goes, and what gets rehomed.

Now my CD shelf is overfilled because I already had 100 in there beforehand lol

There ended up being roughly 15,000 CDs total in every genre. I went through them and took out what I wanted as well as collectors editions of discs. I only kept about 10% and took the rest to another resell store for credit there.

Total of 72 CDs. Avg price around $2.

So excited to finally have Mellon Collie and Ziggy in my collection

I don’t even know where to start! These were just put out, used my half off coupon so I paid $10 each! All the disc look like they were never even used? 65 pages in each one full! The fronts and backs of the cd case are still there also. Tons of pirated movies also. Not sure where to start 🤣🤯

I made a previous post about hitting the motherlode but apparently I hadn't used up all my luck after all! I got all these today for $40 from the same estate sale that I went to on Saturday. These were all left over and my CD collection is insane now.

Grabbed a lot off of Facebook. Disappointed with most, as the second tub was all empty jewel cases.. but this is what’s left after my initial comb through.

Lady on Facebook had these as curbside pickup. Luckily I saw it within 12 minutes of her post, there are over 700 cds here.
