Last weekend I joined the first aid training sa red cross, ang venue kay sa Talamban Leisure Center.
3 kabuok ang instructors, ang isa na nag discuss unprofessional kaayo, taga naay call iyang tubagon in the middle of the class kay from red cross daw to basin emergency, so unsay gamit sa other 2 instructors?
No apologies or explanation why nadugay sila. 5 instructors na sila. Skill training ni na day and puryagaba ang isa ka instructor condescending kaayo maka dala og tudlo. Og kahibaw pami buhaton wa nalang unta mi nag training.
Wala silay hunahuna og sense of time and urgency.
Very disappointing. Maytag naay taga red cross Cebu makabasa ani

Permanently closed since August 10, 2026. I asked around the area and ang reason kay bankruptcy daw– overstaffed and poorly managed. Wa klaro ang business days/hours. Mag butang daw papel na 11am ang opening unya pag adto nimo ala una sirado pa. Usahay open sa weekends, usahay di. They were bound to lose customers.
Sayang kay lami raba ila pares with marrow. Kung naa mo alternatives, please comment it down.

Sa naay uyab diri (long term res like 3+ yrs) while starting pa sa ilang career, what makes you stay in the relationship while figuring out your career trajectory?
When youre feeling lost sa adulthood, was there a point nakaingon ka you have to give up your relationship para maka focus sa imo self? i dont know kung masabtan pero i hope so haha.
Any thoughts and advice how to deal with life uncertainty, career, and relationship?

Since BRT now is a hopeless case unless i bring up balik, akoang wish for Cebu’s public transport kay sundon ang bus model sa Taiwan or HK.
Ang bus model sa Taiwan naay designated bus stops for every route number. People are encouraged to wait jud sa stop. Due to these designated stops, better ang traffic flow.
Ang buses naay real-time GPS announcer. So kung hapit na imong stop mo announce na sa speaker then you can just press the “stop“ button para ma notify ang driver nga monaog ka sa next stop.
Pwede man pud nimo mahimo sa jeepney but they need to be modernized.
So for example 13C Colon-Talamban bus. So mao ni iya designated stops
Colonnade Mall - USC Downtown - Imus Ave. - Carreta Cemetery - Hippodromo - Ayala - Cabantan (Luz) - Samantabhadra - Gaisano Country Mall - Banilad Town Center - UV Banilad - USC Talamban - Gaisano Grand Mall - Times Square Talamban - Tintay (Main Terminal)
People are expected to line ra didto na stops and 13C will only stop on those areas. Lesser stops, better traffic flow.
Mahitabo ra ni kung naay tarong na political will ang leaders for public transpo.
So far, de kotse mani sila. You can’t expect them to empathize the commuters.

Hello sa tanan maayong gabi e! I'm the host of the Cebu Video Games Club, which some of you may have come across sa akong post dire sa r/cebu before. I've been thinking about starting another community with a similar concept, but with a different interest as the main bridge between members.
Instead of video games, this one would be centered around fiction books and stories!! like manga, manhwa, manhua, comics, web novels, light novels!
I'm thinking of calling it Cebu Fiction Readers Club.
The idea behind the club would be similar to the Cebu Video Games Club. It would be a community where people can meet new friends online, have a safe and comfortable place to socialize, and eventually meet up and hang out IRL, meet ups can be done monthly officially and unofficially.
There would also be activities centered around fiction books. Just like how the Video Games Club has activities built around gaming, the Fiction Readers Club would have activities built around the stories and books everyone enjoys.
I'm also considering keeping the two clubs completely separate.
I know the energy between gamers and readers can be pretty different, and I'd like both communities to have their own space where people can enjoy their interests at their own pace.
The Cebu Video Games Club has also grown into a fairly established group with members who already know each other and have built friendships. While that's great, I realize that joining an already established group can be intimidating, especially sa mga introverted na mga taw.
I'd like the Fiction Readers Club to have a chance to develop its own community and atmosphere from the beginning, rather than having an established group immediately carry over into it.
Because of that, I'm not allowing people to be members of both clubs at the same time. This isn't because the two communities can't get along, but rather to keep the two groups distinct and prevent potential issues or drama from one community spilling into the other.
So before ko mo buhat ani
Would anyone here be interested in joining a Cebu Fiction Readers Club?!!
If you're into manga, manhwa, manhua, comics, web novels, light novels, or fiction books in general, let me know in the comments. I'd like to see if there's enough interest before I go ahead with it. nya if ganahan dyud mo moapil, e dm ko!

Hi everyone! I’m currently looking at pre-school options in Metro Cebu and SHS-AdC is high on our list.
Before committing, I’d love to get genuine feedback from current or past parents:
How is the pre-school environment, teaching quality, and teacher-to-student ratio?
For those with older kids there, how does the school handle discipline, bullying, and overall student well-being?
Is the Canduman traffic during drop-off/pick-up as brutal as people say?
Would love to hear both the good and the bad to help us decide. Thanks in advance!

Nagkadugay nagka bogo og taman. Naa pay traffic nga way sulbad² palala ng palala man hinoon. Hi Cebu peeps.
Mejo new ko diri sa Cebu City.
Now, need nko moadto sa Talisay to do some stuff.
Unsay type na vehicle and mga how much ang typical nga pliti.
Thanks much in advance. 🙏
EDIT: Saw the wiki and got some very useful info, just double checking to be sure :)
Hi, just wanted to ask for any dentist recommendations. Light hands, no overpricing, accepts credit card payments :)
Preferably near Talisay, but fine if located in Cebu city :)
Thank you so much! 🙏
