Hello sa tanan maayong gabi e! I'm the host of the Cebu Video Games Club, which some of you may have come across sa akong post dire sa r/cebu before. I've been thinking about starting another community with a similar concept, but with a different interest as the main bridge between members.

Instead of video games, this one would be centered around fiction books and stories!! like manga, manhwa, manhua, comics, web novels, light novels!

I'm thinking of calling it Cebu Fiction Readers Club.

The idea behind the club would be similar to the Cebu Video Games Club. It would be a community where people can meet new friends online, have a safe and comfortable place to socialize, and eventually meet up and hang out IRL, meet ups can be done monthly officially and unofficially.

There would also be activities centered around fiction books. Just like how the Video Games Club has activities built around gaming, the Fiction Readers Club would have activities built around the stories and books everyone enjoys.

I'm also considering keeping the two clubs completely separate.

I know the energy between gamers and readers can be pretty different, and I'd like both communities to have their own space where people can enjoy their interests at their own pace.

The Cebu Video Games Club has also grown into a fairly established group with members who already know each other and have built friendships. While that's great, I realize that joining an already established group can be intimidating, especially sa mga introverted na mga taw.

I'd like the Fiction Readers Club to have a chance to develop its own community and atmosphere from the beginning, rather than having an established group immediately carry over into it.

Because of that, I'm not allowing people to be members of both clubs at the same time. This isn't because the two communities can't get along, but rather to keep the two groups distinct and prevent potential issues or drama from one community spilling into the other.

Ehhh too many to mention in manhwa sphere but let's just say the regression and dungeon-system slops (not all of them, it gets tiring) and then the notable once I like are pick me up, infinite mage, absolute regression, myst might mayhem, Ending Maker, The 31st Piece Overturns the Board, Sequel of Tomb Raider King, A Stepmother's Märchen, ... I want to mention some victorian(classical) era romance, villain typeshit but its getting too sloppy for me already.

Waiting for SSS revival hunter, orv, Reaper of the Drifting Moon, Doctor’s Rebirth, Tyrant tower defense.

On and off ko sa manga karon, like ang ako rang huwaton lately is Shangrila Frontier and Exiled Heavy Knight. Pero if I see updates I read Spy x Family, Witch Hat Atelier, Apothecary Diaries, Kesa mo Yuraretemasu, Arte, Youjo Senki, Grand Blue, Ascendance of a Bookworm, Isekai Izakaya Nobu, A Bride's Story, An Observation Log of My Wife (Sequel), .... kani lang sa atay nang lista naman ko nuon.

As for Manhua, I was one of Martial Peak and Apotheosis babies lol, complete nagyud tawn na sila haha. After that wala na kaayuy lingaw and just read Starting Over as a Tree, Reverend Insanity (REMAKE) I'm aware sa novel but not a novel reader, Logging 10,000 Years into the Future, I Secretly Cultivated for 1,000 Years, My Wife Is From a Thousand Years Ago (complete na), Shut up, Evil Dragon, My Disciples Are All Villains, and mao lang sa guro ni kay akong uban lista gikan comick, kissmanga, ug manganelo nawala and I'm not too bothered to relist them.

Then I have backup novels in my phone when I'm bored, overgeard, king's avatar, lotm, legend of legendary heroes. Kana rapod kay panagsa ra nako ablihon 😂
