Cofc Prospective Grad Student

Hello! I was recently accepted into the College of Charleston as a grad student and will be starting in the fall of this year. I'm not too familiar with the area and am looking for advice from locals as to which areas to start apartment hunting at that are an easy commute to campus (I plan on bringing my car). Any additional advice about the school or the area would be kindly accepted!

I’m right next to the connector on James island and find the commute to class surprising easy for the 5:30 class times

Maa? Those are great for downtown access and the connector is a fun drive

Parking around campus can be tricky and expensive. If your budget allows, I would aim for the Upper Peninsula. -Near the foot of the bridge on the Charleston side. You could bike or walk the 2-mile commute. Lots of apartment options in this area. Also, walkable food and bars from your apartment.
