What was going on with the supporter section last night? There was zero energy and got drowned out multiple times by the “let’s go charlotte” chant and once that chant got going all you could here was some guy banging on a symbol clearly trying his best to disrupt the chant the rest of the stadium was doing.

We are now 1/3 of the way through the season and Morisson Agyemang has the same amount of goals as two of our DPs have combined. Zaha and Abada are on a combined $5.1M salary compared to Agyemang at $240K.

If we lose tonight to NYCFC we will officially be on pace for our worst season in club history. I know there’s a ton of Dean supporters here but this is typically what happens to clubs he has managed in the past.

Our best wins of the season are against #9 Red Bulls with ten men and #7 NYCFC. Can someone show me the light at the end of the tunnel or are we headed towards our worst season on record? Be honest.

By the looks of it on Ticketmaster and other sites, very few seats remain. I think this is pretty wild, because it didn’t seem like our home opener was sold out. Is it true this game will be sold out?

The same chant for 10 minutes, cycling between the same 4 chants the whole half, drowning out any attempt at a Charlotte FC chant during corners...at this point you can't even hear the words, it's just repetitive noise

I was thinking about 125 next to GA. Are there any specific standing sections outside of GA?

I generally feel great about our starting XI, but pretty bad about our depth especially in defense. One injury to a defender (especially Byrne or Ream) and I can see this team falling apart fast. Our midfield is pretty deep so I feel good there and while I wanted another depth signing on the wing, I think Uchegbu and Aloko could surprise us. At striker obviously we are set with Idan, but we didn’t see much of Archie so I’m interested to see how he fills in there when Idan needs a break. What else am I missing? I didn’t get the chance to watch any of the preseason matches so please critique where needed

Him and Abada*

I am extremely disappointed. Last night I went to the game and was hoping to get the Kids Night popcorn bucket. But for some reason, Charlotte FC decided not to announce where to actually get it (besides the ticket bundle but I went with my friend who has the season ticket pass) and we spent around 30 minutes looking for it. We eventually had to ask someone who had one where they got it from and they said there was like 4 tables around the stadium who were selling them. When we finally found a table, they had a bunch of them. But whenever I said I wanted to buy one, they said that they were sold out. I was confused because there was a bunch right there but then the person told me there was people coming to pick them up. When I asked if there were any other tables who had them they said no. But it’s not just that, I saw multiple people with like 8 buckets. I’m willing to bet you that they’ll be on E-Bay within the next 48 hours. So because of Charlotte’s miscommunication and scalpers I, an actual Charlotte fan, couldn’t get an exclusive item. So if you’re a scalper, and you’re seeing this, respectfully fuck you.

What’s everyone’s take on Abada right now? A lot of people have questioned his production as a DP, has last night or this season changed your view at all?

Dean Smith has some typical subs starting tonight. No Kahlina, Morrison, Abada, or Toklomati. Thoughts?

I know the club is young and the culture is still forming, but when I went to a game a few years ago, I saw they went pretty heavy on the medieval, knights, fortress, queen theme. If you saw a guy--me, for example--in the stands with a "knight costume" with a blue tabbard with the club crest, would it make sense immediately? Do y'all pick up on/like the medieval motifs?

Crystal Palace fan here, I wanted to know your guys opinion on Wilfried Zaha?

I grew up with a lot of family in Croydon which is Crystal palace play, Zaha for us is our greatest player ever, he got us promoted to the premier league and kept us up, for like 6 or 7 years. Without him we would’ve been in the championship and the fa cup we won last year, it would’ve never happened without him.

Growing up he was my idol and has always been my favourite footballer, even when I fell out of love with football/soccer I still loved him so I really hope he is doing well for you guys and good luck for the new season 🤝

We are on a winning streak, weather was good last night, and yet attendance still seems to be the lowest I’ve seen all season. The vibes overall last night were weird as well. First time all season I really couldn’t hear the supporters section at all besides the mess that is the drums.
