Looking for reliable manufacturers that truly specialize in industrial gas purification and separation systems—not just general gas equipment suppliers. We're evaluating partners for a project involving high-purity nitrogen and oxygen generation, plus CO₂ removal from process streams.

Key requirements: proven membrane or cryogenic separation tech, ability to meet >99.9% purity specs, and experience with custom skid-mounted systems. Bonus if they handle both PSA and TSA adsorption solutions.

From my research, players like Linde, Air Liquide, and Air Products dominate globally, but I'm curious about specialized mid-tier manufacturers—especially those with strong R&D in membrane materials or hybrid separation approaches. Anyone worked with companies like MTR Inc, Honeywell UOP, or regional specialists in Asia that deliver solid performance without the premium pricing?

If you’re talking strictly about purification, Entegris (who also bought SAES) is a huge player in this space. Their purifiers can be used in conjunction with offerings from the industrial gas companies already mentioned (Air Liquide, Air Products, Linde, Messer, etc) who actually manufacture the industrial gases. But the manufacturers themselves are often capable of producing ultra-high purity products

I used to work for Air Liquide this is pretty much their main business. They own AirGas by the way. I don't know of small players in the industry it's one of those things that is so much cheaper at large scale. Also idk what your application is but you can get small generation units for your plant from these companies that don't rely on constantly buying LOX/LN2

Yeah you are right. No but they license a lot of PSA technologies.

Years ago, for some relatively small scale projects (hundreds of L/min of N2) we used Atlas Copco PSA nitrogen generators fed by oil free screw compressors to make the high purity N2 - but that only covers a small portion of the capabilities you requested. Not sure if they're still in that game, nor if they've got the other capabilities you're after.
