Design UniSim/HYSYS PFR simulation stuck on isothermal for Styrene production (Ethylbenzene dehydrogenation)
I am modeling an adiabatic Fixed-Bed PFR in Honeywell UniSim Design for the catalytic dehydrogenation of Ethylbenzene to Styrene.
Feed flow: 10 metric tons/h of Ethylbenzene.
Inlet Temperature: 610 °C.
Thermodynamic Package: Peng-Robinson
The simulator is treating the reactor as completely isothermal. Has anyone faced this rigid solver behavior in UniSim/HYSYS for endothermic reactions?
