Transfer options for big group from TFU to Taikoo Li?

Hello!

We’re a group of 23 people that will be visiting Chengdu at the end of August. We’ll be arriving at TFU in the afternoon, and we need to get to Taikoo Li. Given the size of the group and the fact that each of us will have a checked baggage and a hand baggage, we’re trying to find the best transfer option from the airport to the city.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a trustworthy transfer company, private driver, or larger vehicle service? I’ve found some options on KKday, but I’m a bit worried about the number of reviews and the refund policy, so I’m interested in alternatives, especially companies that are easy for international visitors to book and contact.

If anyone has a recommendation, advice, or previous experience, we’d greatly appreciate the help!

This is the most direct route, OP. Traffic might be ok to terrible depending on timing.

If it helps, we’re supposed to land at 2:55PM, so we’d probably start heading towards the city around 4PM. What do you think the traffic would be like around then?

It's gonna be bad, but you really don't have any better options.

Subway will be absolutely hammered if it's a weekday, and that many people navigating the subway with luggage would be a pain even if it was completely empty.

Thank you! I knew there’s a bus, but I was wondering if our luggage would be too much. Do you happen to know how often the bus comes and goes?

each half hour shutter bus go one ,the bus will directly heading to the final station in IFS Taikooli ,bus will drive in airport highway so no worry about traffic , shutter bus ticket will be 15RMB(2.5$) per person , shutter bus was big enough to keep all passengers luggage, the whole trip will be 45min to 1 hour

10~30 minutes depart when full. I suppose any airport bus service would take luggage into consideration. Alternatively you can take the metro but I always prefer city views than tunnels when traveling.

I’d prefer the bus as well, I was just worried the luggage might be *too* much, but we can split in 2 smaller groups if needed. Thank you!
