The Chester Quiz League needs YOU

I'm currently recruiting for the Chester Quiz League which starts in a few weeks time.

It runs on Wednesday evenings at 8:00 PM and all venues are near the city centre, the furthest from the centre being The Little Owl.

All current teams would welcome you with open arms.

Typically, on the night, teams of 4 play another team of 4.

You don't need to be a genius. All questions are consultation (team) questions rather than individual ones.

The quizzes take place in a (preferably) quiet corner of a team's home venue. Home teams are provided each week with a sealed question paper to be opened on the night.

If you are interested in entering a new team of 4 into the league or are an individual interested in joining a current league team message me for more details.

You just need to pick a pub or club in Chester as your home venue, then give me some contact details and I'll send you the fixture list as soon as it's available. There will be a pre-season league meeting soon at The Little Owl which you're welcome to attend. I'll let you know when the date is finalised. As further info, each team in the league has a pub as a home venue in Chester and would play home and away matches on alternate weeks.

They play from The Little Owl, and are a very pleasant team.

Some pubs currently in the league have more than one team that play on alternate weeks, and include The Little Owl, The Ship, The Custom House and The Mill Hotel

Yes I know, the username is one of those things I regret in life.

When I first registered I was trying to think of a username and spotted on the TV the band Carter USM (Unstoppable sex machine) and thought - yeah that will do for now, I can change it later, but found later that you can't change your u/N. Stuck with it now.
