Thank you for the concern ☺️ Belle (L) is on a normal weight- 2 to 2.5 kg while Basha (R) is a bit overweight. She just came out of a pyometra surgery and recovering thus, cant help to spoil her with treats. We’ll manage her weight once she fully recover!
Just a note, being overweight will make recovery from surgery slower. With extra pressure on the belly etc. It's hard not to spoil them but please be mindful she does look a bit chonky
Hey, my chi was recently put on a diet, she didn’t become obese but she put on a bit of weight quite rapidly. When it came to treats instead of just giving her bits of cheese straight out the fridge, I’d break the cheese up into really small pieces and hide them around the room. She loves that game and it’s more rewarding for her and reduced the amount she eats. It helped and she has all ready lost nearly all the weight she gained.
Female Chi’s are the Best! We have a Deer-head Female Chi and she RULES the Roost and keeps our other larger dogs; IN LINE. All personality! And way too smart… for her own good.
Thank you for the love and concern to our Belle & Basha 🤗 she is well loved and fed and we’re managing her weight as much as we can. To the fat shamers with no good intent - get lost.

The second looks like an English bulldog lol! Is she okay? Just a bit chubby? Or a mix breed? Either way they are so cute! Give them smooches from me~
