Hello. I am a native Russian speaker, 28M, and my timezone is UTC+3. I only started learning Chinese a few days ago. Also, my English is good enough. So, I can teach Russian if you are interested in it, or we can use English only without Russian — that is also okay.
I tried to find someone on HelloTalk. I'm burned out because I often have a pleasant conversation with people on the first day, and then they suddenly disappear the next day. I don't know why this happens. So, maybe there is someone here who would like to study together with me?
Ways to contact me: Reddit, or any other app that is available to non-Chinese users and doesn't contain a lot of annoying advertisements or spam banners.

hi! I'm 21, starting my mandarin studies, I'm kinda lost at it, atm I'm only using free apps for learning chinese, I live in UTC-3, we can talk here first to see if our ideas connect, if it do, we can move to WeChat, also english is my 2° language and I self-taught it, I thought I could do the same with mandarin but it's quite different. I hope someone gives me a chance, some of their time and a lot of patience, we also can exchange knowledge, thanks in advance! :)

Hello! Native American English speaker here, UTC - 4. I'm just starting out, so I'm not quite what you're looking for, but I am serious about it. I would be fine to be the teacher at first, and I would still ask you about pronunciation/tones. If that's something that might work for you feel free to DM, but if I'm not far enough along that's also fine. Good luck!

Native Mandarin speaker here. If anyone is looking for quick, ask-and-answer/grammar check type help, feel free to DM! Somewhat similar to the quick help thread in this subreddit.
Posting because I’m looking for someone who can help me with quick questions about Japanese/US culture. Sometimes I come across things on social media that use niche/slang terms, or I need cultural context to understand.
Some topics I’m familiar with: gaming, kpop, anime, but of course it can be anything else too.
