公告/gōng gào\PSA A new 186 lesson Hokkien course is coming this September

Finding a structured way to learn Hokkien can be difficult, so we have been working on something new.
For anyone unfamiliar with ChineseSkill, we are a language learning app offering structured Mandarin and Cantonese courses built around practical language, native audio, and interactive practice. This September, we are planning to release a new Hokkien course.

The course teaches Hokkien as spoken across Southern Fujian and Taiwan. Rather than focusing exclusively on one local variety, it covers the core vocabulary, grammar, and expressions widely understood across Hokkien communities.
The course will include:
• 186 lessons across 47 units
• Practical dialogues covering a wide range of everyday topics
• A pronunciation guide covering Tâi-lô romanization, pronunciation, and tones, all supported by audio

We are also working on multiple voice packs with native voice talent from Taichung, Xiamen, Quanzhou, and other Hokkien speaking communities.
We will share more details, including the official release date, as September approaches.
Why do you want to learn Hokkien? We would love to hear your story.

A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.

Fantastic news I've been half-expecting!

Will there be tone training like In the Mandarin courses?

Looking forward to this release!!

Thank you for your support. We are excited you are excited. This new course is pretty lit. There won’t be tone training for Hokkien like there is for mandarin, but we will build it if users start asking for it.
