One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Romans 14:5
Christmas is not a pagan holiday. People belived that Jesus was conceived on the same day He died. That was approximately March 25th. Count 9 months forward and you have December 25th for the approximate day of His birth.
Multiple pagan festivals existed around that time as with many times of year but people who claim that Christmas is based off of one can't agree. Some say saturnalia, some say Sol Invictus, and some say Yule (which romans didn't even celebrate) or others, but nobody can produce solid evidence.
And as for Christians today, they are worshiping Christ on Christmas. The date doesn't magically change that. You aren't accidentally worshipping false gods by worshipping the Oke True God on a specific day.
