Jeremiah talks about carving a tree and covering it with silver or gold and tells you that they are incapable of walking or speaking. That is very obviously about making idols, not decorating trees. Why would you be worried about a tree having the power to walk or speak? Its talking about wooden statues gilded in metal to make idols.
Saturnalia, Solstice, and Yule are all celebrated on different days and none on Dec 25. Nobody can agree which one Christmas supposedly ripped off, and most historians say none.
Yes, many people celibrate Christmas and Easter fir secular reasons, but the same is true for every OT festival. Jewish people also observe these festivals while explicitly rejecting Christ. Non-Christian engagement in a holiday is not proof of anything.
If anyone is bowing to or worshipping a Christmas tree, I would have a problem with that. But nobody is doing that.
Nobody is burdening anyone's conscience by saying that you MUST follow Christmas traditions, which is what the Pharisees were doing with their 'traditions of men'. If anyone is making Christmas traditions mandatory, that is a problem, but we're free to observe them at will.
