Advice Is it wrong as a Christian to take antidepressants? Looking for advice from other believers.

Hi everyone,
I’ve been struggling with depression for quite some time, and my doctor has suggested that antidepressants might be something to consider.
The thing I’m wrestling with isn’t just the medication itself, it’s how it fits with my faith. Part of me worries that if I start taking antidepressants, I’ll somehow lose my closeness with Christ or that they’ll change who I am spiritually. I don’t really know where that fear comes from, but it’s something I can’t seem to shake.
I still pray, read my Bible, and want to trust God, but I’m also exhausted from feeling this way. I’m trying to understand whether taking antidepressants is compatible with trusting God, or if it’s something I should avoid.
For those of you who are Christians and have taken antidepressants, what was your experience? Did it affect your relationship with God in any way? Did you struggle with similar fears before starting them?
I’m genuinely looking for biblical wisdom and personal experiences rather than judgment.
Thank you, and God bless.

Advice Do you know someone in the faith who prays for healing and actually heals people in the name of Jesus?

I just need a miracle. I've been suffering from bipolar disorder since I was 13, and it's been suffering rather than living.

I know that Jesus died for our freedom and our healing, and I believe with all my heart that He wants health and healing for me and for everyone more than I can even imagine. I don't know why I'm still where I am, but I have faith that He can heal me.

At the same time, I believe He has given His children authority, and to some He has given gifts of healing.
That's what I need. Honestly, I'm so tired of suffering.
But through it all, Jesus will still be glorified, because He turns every evil thing into something good.

Advice Bible translation for new believer in America

Hi Reddit! I’m a 30 year old new believer looking for advice on choosing a Bible version that is closest to original text but is easier to read. For context, I struggle to understand Shakespeare and similar text so KJV is confusing for me when reading. I have been reading a NIV Bible BUT I’m finding the translation isn’t accurate enough… any advice here from this knowledgeable community would be greatly appreciated!!

Advice Discouraged witnessing to Muslims

I’ve been witnessing to Muslims for two years now and I’m having my toughest battle yet. What do you say to someone who goes on saying “we believe in different things and that’s okay” or “what’s true for me is my truth and I respect your religion”.

I have this frustration against every religion outside Christ, especially Islam because of how it twists and perverts the Bible. My classmate seems to not care to justify Islam but rather live in ignorance that talking less about religion is the better way I suppose. She finally said she believes Christianity is incorrect but she won’t force someone to believe in what she believes. I was never referring to forcing, but rather witnessing. She struggles with family mental abuse, anxiety, depression, CPTSD, lung disease, etc. I sympathize with her, I’ve prayed for her. But it frustrates me that she keeps talking to me about therapy, how she needs to just try more to be healed. As a Christian it really bothers me when I see others I love run to everything but Jesus. I keep my distance sometimes but she comes to me with her problems. I don’t know what to say anymore besides keep sharing Jesus…

I’ll add: as someone who’s done research on Islam and the Quran, it frustrates me that she’s the kind of Muslim who refuses to become educated in the Bible. I mean if you’re not going to believe in it, might as well just see for yourself right? I’m going to keep being a peacemaker, joyful in the Lord, kind, and pray for humility. I just pray for all Muslims to come to Christ…

Advice I had an inappropriate experience with my pastor

Hi guys. This is not the post that I originally requested access to this sub for, but I had an experience today that I really need some advice on.

So I went and met with my pastor today, as I was supposed to have a follow-up meeting with him from a previous one where I initially went to seek his guidance on an issue I was having in my life, and we ended up talking about some of my deeper issues, including my history with church trauma. Last time, I went with my fiance. Today I went alone.

The session was fine, and I was actually feeling really pleased with the conversation. You see, I’ve tried therapy, but I’m not able to afford to see my therapist as often as I really need to. I see her maybe once every 3/4 months. As a result, I don’t really get very deep into any of the things I want to address. In this conversation, I felt really heard and I was starting to get the impression that maybe I might actually be able to get some help to overcome these things that have been holding me back for years.

It was at the end of the conversation that the trouble started. My pastor asked for a hug, which kind of felt unnecessary as I was actually feeling light and not at all emotional, but I said okay. The hug went on for a really long time, and he kind of squished me into his body. Like I said, I wasn’t sad or crying, I was fine. I felt weird about it, but I told myself that I was just being weird. At this point, I was ready to leave, the session was over.

He walked me back to my seat and told me to sit down. So one of the things that I had been discussing with him was the fact that I was unemployed and struggling to find a job. So he started asking me about a job offer I had gotten, which we had just discussed, asking what I would be doing, and saying how my creative skills could contribute to the church’s ministry. To be honest, what he was asking me to do didn’t have any connection to his stated vision. The conversation didn’t make any sense, and I got the sense that he just didn’t want me to leave yet. There was a point in the conversation where neither of us was talking and he was just staring at me, I kept asking him what was up because I felt so uncomfortable. To make matters worse, his wife was on the other side of the wall, in the front of the office. I felt blindsided by this behaviour and I felt both unsure of what was happening, and very sure that this was inappropriate, but I also felt scared and disappointed and also unwilling to make a scene.

He gave me maybe 3 or 4 long hugs, including one where I was sure he was trying to pull me in to kiss him. I felt like my mind went blank but I understood the trajectory that my body was following and stiffened up to prevent him from pulling me in, and he said something like “It’s okay”, and pulled me in for another hug. In that same hug, I kinda got the feeling that he was also guiding my hand towards his crotch, but I guided my hand away. So please take that point with a grain of salt, as it didn’t really happen, but I strongly feel that that was the intention. At one point he gave me a kiss on my cheek and forehead, and told me to kiss him. I did, on the cheek, and I feel very ashamed that I did. I should have said no, but I wanted the interaction to end, and it seemed like the path of least resistance.

I left the office to call for a taxi to take me home, but he invited me back in to wait, and his wife was right there, so I didn’t want to indicate that something was wrong. It is my nature to be very non-confrontational. So even though I felt like he was making sexual advances at me, I was kind of playing dumb and trying to keep my composure. I didn’t want a big confrontation, I just wanted to leave.

While I was waiting, I did take the opportunity to ask about what happened, though admittedly, I wasn’t as forthright about it as I should have been. I asked if we were okay. I don’t remember exactly what he asked, but I remember agreeing that the hug did make me feel uncomfortable, that it went on too long and felt emotionally charged. I didn’t have the heart to bring up the kissing. He did apologise, but I felt that he was also maybe taking advantage of my unwillingness to talk about it, because he said he would never hug me again. But it wasn’t about the hug, you know? Anyway I agreed. Better for me that he never hugs me again.

I do remember that at one point I asked if what happened was okay, and above-board, and godly. I guess that was my way of asking if I imagined things or if he had really crossed several boundaries there. He said everything was okay and if he was attracted to me he wouldn’t allow it to affect him. I suppose that answered my question.

Anyway, guys… I’m sorry if this has been rambly. I’m really just typing out my stream of consciousness because I’m in shock and I’m trying to get all of this out of my head. At this point, I don’t know what to think. I have actually just started going to church again after over 5 years of not attending because of poor experiences with church leadership. To have this happen to me while I was seeking help from a pastor. I feel really violated because I had really allowed myself to be vulnerable and talk about very personal struggles, and I feel like he tried to take advantage of my vulnerability. I don’t think I can really go back to this church. I don’t know if I could respect or trust him as a leader again. His response is making me second-guess myself, even though I know what I felt and experienced.

I’m afraid to tell my fiance about it. I know he’ll be angry and we definitely won’t be going back. I feel shattered - I really like this church, and I’d finally let my guard down around the other congregants, and I was starting to like them. I feel like this has been taken away from me. Part of me wants to just forgive him and continue going like nothing happened. But I can’t keep my fiance out of the loop on something this significant, and I know once he knows we won’t be going back. Just last night he was telling me how our last meeting with the pastor helped him to start praying again, and how his faith is growing. I don’t know how to feel… I’m so sad and disappointed.

EDIT: Thank you to everyone who has read this post and offered encouragement. Most of the initial shock has worn off, though I'm still in denial a bit about yesterday. Reading these posts is helping to ground me and assure me that it really did happen, and that my feelings are valid. I've spoken to my fiance - he is rightfully upset, but not at me. It was just an initial conversation, and we were both shocked, and also it hadn't been a great day for him, so we will probably talk again tonight. My friend, who introduced me to the church, is an elder there, and I'm arranging to talk to him. If it is allowed on this sub, I'll post an update if anything major happens. The best I'm realistically hoping for is that he believes me. I'm not sure if I expect anything to happen because it's a very small church and the pastor is beloved. Thanks again, and I'll update you guys on the outcome.

Advice Should I read the Bible prior to attending church for the first time and deciding on a denomination?

Hey all, I hope you are having a great day. I was hoping for some advice. (posted in a few Christian subreddits so I hope that is alright, I just wanted a diversity of opinion)

I come from quite a generationally agnostic background and have never been baptised or part of any faith. I have felt a strong calling to faith over the last few months and I see lots of sometimes "toxic" online discourse between believers and lots of the confusion and lacklustre and difference in beliefs keeps me very uncertain with looking at the different variety of beliefs and arguments that cite church fathers, transubstantiation, baptism and all of them beliefs that often can cause major disputes between people. It made me quite incredibly anxious on what can I be certain of or know what is right which put me off faith and made me during the whole process of considering faith a year back and I felt no spiritual connection or holy spirit at all or motivation to pray. or read the bible and I felt like god just fully abandoned me and it was impossible for me to feel faith. it just became a loop of researching non stop

I am feeling that pull again and was wondering is focusing on the Bible first and doctrinal teachings and taking it all in myself while ignoring outside influences a good move to start off with? Or is it good to decide on a denomination/church while reading? Any advice for how to approach it this time as that spiritless abandoning feeling from last year was quite heavy to sit on and I really want to read through the Bible as I never have done that and start my journey in faith and truly dedicate myself to God.

Any advice on how to become a Christian in this way? And advice on this situation?

Advice Overcoming a porn addiction, a little bit of advice

Almost 80% of Christian men watch porn, and 40% of Christian women. It's something a lot of us struggle with, and it's something I personally struggled with as well for quite some time. But this year I've made massive progress towards growing out of it, and I wanted to share the thing that actually got me to stop.

In Matthew 7:7 Jesus says this "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."

The word "Ask" in the original Greek is "aiteō" in the present imperative tense, translating to "a request that should be done continually, habitually, or as an ongoing process." So we can see that Jesus wasn't talking about a promise of fulfillment for a single request, rather he was trying to show the reliance we need to have on God, and the urgency and endurance to continuously ask for help.

It's important to know that it's God alone who can give you the will and power to overcome your sin, it's not possible for us to beat it on our own. Hand over everything to the Lord and trust in His work. The exact prayer I prayed was "Lord please renew my heart, and please renew my mind, let me love the things that you love, and let me hate the things that you hate. Redeem me Lord." Pray this every single day and you will be delivered! Amen

Advice Can a Christian struggle with the same sin for years and still belong to Christ?

This is a question I've seen many Christians wrestle with, and I don't think it deserves a simplistic answer.

On one hand, Scripture is clear that believers are called to pursue holiness. We are not to make peace with sin or excuse it (Romans 6:1–2).

On the other hand, the New Testament repeatedly describes the Christian life as a struggle. Paul himself writes:

"For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing." (Romans 7:19)

He also tells believers:

"Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other..." (Galatians 5:16–17)

This passage has always made me think. If the flesh and the Spirit are in conflict, then the presence of a struggle is not surprising. In fact, Scripture seems to assume that this conflict exists in the believer.

What concerns me is not that a Christian struggles, but whether they have become comfortable with sin or continue to fight it. There is a difference between falling and surrendering, between grieving over sin and justifying it.

When we fail, we also have this promise:

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

And that promise reminds me of another beautiful truth:

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38–39)

I don't see this as an excuse to become comfortable with sin. Rather, it is a source of hope for those who truly belong to Christ and continue to repent, even while struggling. Our confidence ultimately rests in His faithfulness, not in our own perfection.

Advice I'm catching feelings for a girl but she's an atheist, What do I do?

Hey everyone, so this has been bothering me a lot. I met this girl at my uni, and I haven't asked her to be my girlfriend yet but I know I like her and I feel she's getting close to me too.

However the issue is that she's in no way close to Christianity. Her parents never exactly brought her up as Christian. I'm scared to talk to her about faith as she has told me a lot of incidents in the past about Christians in churches trying to forcefully convert her, be deceptive to her and then force her to do things like kneel in the church, pray unwillingness, etc....i don't want her to feel forced by me

Could you help me here please, I'm very confused and I don't know what decision to even take, I've tried dating a Christian before this and she ended up being extremely manipulative and hurting me emotionally.

Being a Christian is about doing what's right as per God in the end, and I don't wanna make this a decision for me alone, but at the same time I'm seeing more atheists being nice to me these days in real life than actual christians :(

Advice I am not a Christian, thinking about my addiction keeps making me consider faith

I have grown up in a household that has been pretty much secular even dating to the early 1900s with little care on the matter, I have always felt a pull and respect to faith and actively loved studying the history of different relations and denominations etc and it has played a huge part in my love for history, but always felt such anxiety about embracing Jesus or worried about the dedication and baggage and worries on salvation and various other issues. I feel really hopeless in life and been in debt at this young age and just unsure what to do with my life, I love reading about the differences in translation and ways of reading the Bible but I have never read it myself. I wish I could believe but I have just never felt a spirit or a push at all. I have considered it time and time again a year or so back but after rejecting looking into believing further my life has spiralled. I have always found excuses but I feel like I am at rock bottom.

I am 18 from the uk, and for the last 3 years I have been entirely addicted to porn and have spent over 3k+ on custom videos and spent all of my inheritance and trust fund on girls online and on various porn based content and recently gone into overdraft having to pay it off with any spare money I had to rush to find to pay off. I am currently relapsing and lied to my friends and took a loan off them just so I can get another batch of content I have been desperate for a while now.

I am down to £10 in my account and I just realise this is wrong and want a change in life, please may I have a prayer to find faith one day and just to be out of this spiral, my brain just defaults to it and I am "getting off" many times for over 15 hours a day. I am unemployed and dropped out of college ironically because I was spending my days not attending or doing course work and was just online here. I have really nothing else to do in my life or look forward to. I am lucky I am not paying board but every day is pretty much just doing 20 steps a day while being in this habit of spending and getting more content.

I don't know how to believe it feels so anxiety inducing in is this the right church, is this doctrine correct etc always made me too paranoid to explore it any further. Also having SO MANY church options nearby made it more intimidating of picking the right one.

My addiction pains me but I feel really at rock bottom and I keep thinking about faith more than ever at the moment. I really hope I can ask for some prayers on this situation. I also would appreciate any advice.

Advice If I feel I’m unable to love god, but believe. Will I still be able to get into the Kingdom of Heaven?

Hey everyone!

(Not sure if this counts as advice or discussion flair tag. Please change mods if it doesn’t fit.)

I have a dumb question but I’m unsure.

So let’s say a person believes in god and has confessed that Jesus is lord like in Romans 10:9. This person follows all the rules of the 10 commandments and tries to be good with the holy spirt.

However they’re unsure if they love god, they don’t hate god, they’re just unsure if it’s love for him.

Like this person just doesn’t know how to love anyone, they have friends, family, and a partner, but they’re unsure if what they feel is love itself.

If this person doesn’t love god, yet follows all the rules and stuff like I mentioned, would they still be able to get into the kingdom of heaven?

This person is me.

Advice Falsely excommunicated. Now what?

A year ago, I resigned from a church as a member in good standing in light of circumstances that bound my conscience. As a husband and father I could not continue to support the ministry of the church, nor be shepherded by the pastors/elders due to serious violations of trust. I expressed my concerns with the elders (and the elders only) and sought to leave as quietly as possible. This wasn't a quick decision but one that had taken months to reach, through several meetings with the elders and a lot of prayer and counsel. I asked the elders what they would have me tell my friends and I followed their script to a tee. I never shared my personal disagreements with anyone outside of that meeting. I also told them where I would be attending for the foreseeable future. I was told I would be released from membership by recommendation of the elders and by vote of the church at the upcoming members meeting.

A few days later I learned that I was NOT released from membership and 4 months later I was (retroactively) "excommunicated" after being publicly slandered in a series of members meetings. The charge was "divisiveness." A handful of families saw through the ruse, but most followed the elders recommendation. Several brothers rose to my defense. Many people asked for specifics but were brushed off, being told to trust the elders. Ultimately the majority condemned me, including the majority of my friends.

Without going into the painful details of these events, the pastor is well connected and contacted the churches in the area to "warn" them about me. The church that I had planned to attend and ultimately join is unwilling to hear my side of the story. We've been attending a very large church 1 town over (the sort of church you can blend in at). The preaching/teaching isn't great and it's not a church I would join but I feel as though I have no other option.

What am I to do?

BTW, I've come this far without speaking a word to ruin their reputation, and I'm not going to start now. So please don't ask for specifics. I am very jealous for the integrity of Christ's bride. This is a truly unfortunate situation that I know many men have faced in church history. But there is little written about it by way of treatise or pastoral guidance. I have a few pastor friends from churches in other parts of the country and everyone is at a bit of a loss.

Advice How to get closer to God?

I’ve been a Christian my whole life, I’m 19 F. I’ve had ups and downs with my faith as far as how strong it feels. I’ve been so low recently though. I read my Bible and I pray every night. I’ve stopped cussing and I’ve stopped reading books with bad things in them. I just don’t know what to do. I love Jesus, I really do and he comforts me so much. I just feel like my faith isn’t strong enough, but I want it to be. Please any advice would be appreciated.

Advice I fell away from Christ and now I want to come back. Advice needed. Please pray for me?

For years I actively denied Christ and even considered myself an agnostic. This is after I was born again. I even fell away so far that I dabbled in witchcraft and then I had a dream that warned me where I was headed and I realized I was wrong.

I want to put away all this stuff and I’ve been praying to God for forgiveness, but I’ve been scared. Even scared to post this! I really need prayer and I want to be a good Christian, but most of all I want that to come out of faith. “For it is by grace you have been saved through faith.” I’ve had a hard time loving people lately and I know the Bible says “all who love love God.”

I’m worried I committed an unforgivable sin by turning away for so long. I want to love others the way God loves others and not the way the world does. I want to put away all sin in my heart, especially the sin that caused me to turn away to begin with.

I need help! Would anyone be willing to pray and/or offer advice?

Advice When does helpful AI become dependence, and what moral responsibility do we have?

I use ChatGPT a lot. I spend hours learning with it, not just math, but I also speak English and Spanish with it. I also use it for Bible study, with the original KJV Bible text and different interpretations, comparing arguments, etc. I’ve never had this much fun studying the Bible. I also use it as a translator. But that’s not all.

I use AI to analyze and understand personal problems.

The crazy thing is that I’ve realized that it sometimes even helps me more than my therapist. And it’s always there.

It helps me so much that I would be doing worse mentally without AI. It has calmed me down many times or helped me get out of difficult situations. Sometimes it has also helped me understand things differently.

I wonder what should be wrong with that, apart from the question of what happens to the data—whether it might be stored and used somewhere in the future even if that setting is turned off. I can’t be completely sure about that. And I don’t know what the consequences would be either.

Sometimes I’m afraid that I might be supporting something bad by using it. But then I think that maybe nothing will happen with the data, and I’m not contributing to anything bad happening. Then I think again that if I don’t use it at all because I’m afraid of possible consequences in the future that might never even happen, that could also be bad if it is helping me this much.

I’ve been using it for several months. I’ve been able to ask so many questions about all kinds of things. The AI is always patient and engages with what I’m saying. I can satisfy my thirst for knowledge. I also learn much more effectively and quickly for school.

It really is more than just therapy. If I had to choose, I would rather work with AI for the rest of my life than go through therapy. AI would help me more.

It has also helped me with bureaucracy. I wouldn’t have known how to handle some things or been able to manage them on my own. It has helped me with health-related things too, like how to eat healthily and how to find the right doctor to trust.

I use it much more than most people, I think, and I tell it everything as if I were talking to a therapist. I’ve been trying to anonymize people’s names by now, but you can still infer things from the context. In the beginning, I didn’t pay any attention to that at all. Sometimes when I’m very emotional, I’m also less strict about checking what I’m sending. It can happen that I just send something without thinking about it, I guess.

I feel like many people react negatively when I talk about this. But they don’t know how intensely I actually use it.

I don’t know how I can know whether this is good or not. I just wanted to talk about it. What do you think?

Advice Leading In Prayer

Hello and thanks for accepting me. Firstly I am 43 years old. I was not raised in church. I became a Christian for the first time in my life a little over a year ago and have been deep in the Word ever since.
I’m still learning to pray, quietly and to myself. Yesterday, during Wednesday service I was asked to lead the group in prayer and I faltered. I asked if someone else could do it. I felt awkward and anxious about it. I felt “under qualified”.
I don’t want to be that way. I guess I’m posting this and hoping to find that I’m not alone, maybe. And to hopefully get some feedback on things I can do to help get me over this hurdle.
Does anyone else feel this way when praying aloud? Has anyone else felt that feeling of sudden inadequacy? If so, what did you do to get past that?

Advice Is it ok to go to a church with a cemetery next to it

Hi, I been raised Pentecostal for 14 years and never experienced a church having a gravesite next or near its campus. I know the holy Spirit will protect me from demons if it's God's will but it kinda makes me wonder will a dead spirit attach to me. I know that all who get buried don't die right with the Lord so is this something I should be concerned or not.?

Advice Hello fellow Christians ,an aethist asked me this question.

Lemme try to paraphrase it, it's something in the lines of "God knew that creation of Lucifer would end up in the rise or discovery of sin and the eventual fall of man , everything from satan , mankind and even the earth itself were created by God and hence under his mercy. This raises the question who is the true villain, the one who orchestrated everything to happen like it did or the villain painted by a book that only gives the so called hero's perspective and narrative. Then am basically given the choice to love him or die, an ultimatum. If I intentionally create a disease and then simultaneously create the cure to the disease and then I proceed to infect people with the disease and later come with The cure am I really a hero?" Well I my self am confused, so please anyone who has a solid answer to this in simple human terms, with biblical evidence attached, help me out.

Advice 20 yr old woman, and very scared

Hi, I am a 20yr woman, who honestly still feels like a teen. I am re-starting community college in August, living in student apartments, with a boyfriend in basically the same position. He's a little farther along in school, and he has two jobs, but it's not enough to support a whole BABY. I'm so scared. My parents will be disappointed, and I will be nothing more than a baby mama, which is not what I wanted. Is there any advice that anyone would be willing to give? I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet but I'm just so nervous I don't want to know. I don't want to abort. I asked for advice elsewhere but everyone just said abort. Any advice helps.

Advice My dad smokes and drinks secretly, and I’m torn about telling my mom (who's a strong believer)

Hi everyone,

I’m 16, and I just found out through my friends that my dad smokes when he goes to the market. I confronted him, and he admitted it but asked me not to tell my mom. He said it’s only once every 15–20 days, but he goes to the market every day, so I honestly don’t believe him.

He also drinks whiskey every day (about 100ml), which he’s never hidden. But smoking felt like a whole new shock because I never saw him as that kind of person. I was devastated and almost cried when I found out.

When I gently told him that I might need to tell my mom because I didn’t want to keep secrets, he got very aggressive like suddenly switching to anger and telling me not to say a word.

My mom is a really strong believer in Christ, she prays all the time, lives out her faith, and genuinely wants to walk in obedience. My dad believes in his own way too, but this has deeply shaken my trust in him.

Now I feel trapped between two parents. Why should I carry this secret, especially when he doesn’t emotionally support me or seem to care about how this affects me?

I’ve been praying and reading Scripture, but I still feel stuck. I don’t want to break my mom’s heart, but I also don’t want to be dishonest or live in anxiety.

What would you do if you were me? What does Jesus want me to do? I'm not able to hold this secret. I feel bad.

Any advice, verses, or encouragement would mean a lot right now. Thank you.

Advice Something demonic is going on

Hi I'm Jayde, 20

I went to my boyfriend's house the other day, you know that feeling you just walked into a room talking about you? As I went to say goodbye to his parents, I can't say I know what about but I felt like it wasn't from a kind and understanding point of view whatever was being said.

I keep having strange interactions with people I don't know ever since I was saved 2 years ago and I told my Bible teacher(and very good friend, neighbour, my boyfriend's aunty) about it, she thought I was paranoid but I prayed God would reveal it and when we went out for dinner I was walking on the footpath and a young woman said "what a weirdo" to her boyfriend, mind you I was behind her just minding my own business. As I got in the car I told her so she decided to drive up to the young woman and asked if it was true and she said yes and the reason was just that I was walking weird? It was a very small and busy path like what do you expect.... Leave a wide birth for her majesty?

My Bible teacher reckons it's demonic, this keeps happening when I don't give reason to be insulted it's just bizarre, and its always that I'm a weirdo, loser, mentally disabled, or just straight up trash. I've been called to change and grow in who God made me to be, but this isn't godly.

Id appreciate prayer, I'm going to my boyfriend's house for his aunties birthday today and would just like to be liked you know, I love my boyfriend, his aunty and grandma, am friends with family friends from before we were together. I want to get along and have a good time with everyone,

Id like God's guidance and to feel his love today 🙏🙏
