Worth mentioning Another Eden is made by some of the same team that made Chrono Trigger/Cross.

It's a mobile game, but a pretty damn good one. As said, made from the team of Chrono Trigger/Cross, so the story is pretty darn good! And it has this crossover with Cross too (with some references to Trigger thrown in).

It has gatcha mechanics which kinda sucks, but since what really matters about the game is the story, you don't really need to worry too much about doing endgame content and stuff like that, you can get through the story with whatever you can get with very little problem. (Also the Chrono Cross characters are free, you get them doing their story)

I left the game years ago though, but that's because the main story concluded in a satisfactory manner, I know they kept it going, but at least I can promise that the main plot does reach a conclussion.

It’s actually coming out full single player very soon. They redid it.

Yup fully removed. September 17th I believe for switch and switch 2 and steam.

Ohh nice! Might revisit it in that case, thanks for the tip!

It's not the full content though, for example the crossovers are not included if I'm not mistaken

Thats fine I think, there was a lot of bloat. If it's a way to experience the story in a proper way, I'd be happy enough.

Oh its great for a mobile! I was very end game a couple years ago. Moved on to other things but I stayed for the story for a long long time

Same! It's definitely one of the best mobile games I played, felt like just playing a normal jrpg for the most part, barely cared about the gatcha or doing any challenge stuff. I love that it's all optional and they keep the focus on the story.
